Open-source customer relationship management software developer SugarCRM touted the success of its Open+ partner program,
noting the company added 50 partners from around the globe in the first
half of 2010. In addition, the company noted channel partners continue
to account for approximately 70 percent of new SugarCRM billings.

Open+ program membership provides access to cloud and on-site
technology and solutions, field engagement, access to programs and
resources to help develop and grow a partner’s business and sales and
training enablement to enhance CRM knowledge and extend reach into the
market. SugarCRM offers five classes of partnership, which are further
subdivided, including channel partner, consultant partner, authorized
learning partner, technology partner and referral partner programs.

"Our partners play a critical role selling and deploying SugarCRM’s
commercial products," said Delbert Ross, vice president of channel
sales at SugarCRM. "As a result, we are laser-focused on working with
and enabling our new and existing partners to insure their success
working with SugarCRM. Our consistent quarter-over-quarter revenue
growth proves our indirect model is the future and that we will
continually gain momentum adding top-notch partners such as Castle CRM
and Accent Gold."

Castle CRM is based in New York City and is the No. 1 Sage SalesLogix
reseller in the United States. "Partnering with SugarCRM complements
our customer and prospect base, and we look forward to providing
value-based, CRM business solutions and professional services to our
customers," said Tony Castle, CEO of Castle CRM. "We’ve gained
recognition for our innovative approach to solving clients’ business
problems and provide the ‘bridge’ between business strategy and
business solution."

Tim Priestley, executive director at Accent Gold, said in the company’s
pursuit to provide the best solutions for our clients, SugarCRM
impressed the company as a simple, flexible and dynamic offering.
"Partnering with their team has been an absolute joy–in a short time,
they have worked hard to make us successful,” Priestley said. “We have
evaluated many CRM packages over the past few years and felt that
adding SugarCRM to our short list of solution sets now–especially in
view of the version 6 release–was a compelling choice."

SugarCRM noted it has also added Emerge Business Consulting as a new
channel partner. Emerge Business Consulting is dedicated to serving
SMBs (small to medium-size businesses) by representing business
management software. "In our experience, the price point and
functionality of SugarCRM far exceeds competing products such as
Salesforce.com,” said Greg Giachino, president at Emerge Business
Consulting. “Going with SugarCRM is a no-brainer."
