Breach Secure Now Intros New Security Training Program

Breach Secure Now introduced its Unlimited Clients Employee Security Training program for managed service providers (MSPs). The program enables MSPs to offer IT security training to their small- and midsize-business (SMB) customers for free or at a minimal cost, the company said.

The training can be bundled with the anti-virus protection, firewalls and security patch management services that MSPs already provide as part of an IT services package. In addition, the training subscription can be offered under the MSP’s own label and made available through a secure MSP-branded portal. The training portal will provide information about other Breach Secure Now services, including security risk assessments, personal identifiable information scanning, security policies and procedures, breach response services and $100,000 of cyber-protection though an AIG insurance program.

Verizon Offers Cisco SDN Tech

Verizon announced it is the first service provider to offer Cisco’s new software-defined networking technology (SDN), introducing its new software-defined WAN service using Cisco’s Intelligent WAN (IWAN) technology. The Cisco software-defined WAN solution enables integrated application optimization, highly secure and certified routing platforms (ISRs and ASRs), intelligent path control, and faster provisioning of new sites and services with a hybrid WAN.

Both Verizon and Cisco will sell the managed solution to their respective enterprise customers in the United States. The companies plan to roll out the solution in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region by year’s end. Verizon’s IT consulting group will support the new solution, helping enterprises manage their transition to SD-based networking.

Citrix Adds ShareFile to Service Providers’ Portfolio

Citrix is making ShareFile available to Citrix Service Providers (CSPs), enabling them to host ShareFile data for customers. CSPs will be able to use ShareFile as part of their existing Citrix-based desktop-as-a-service (DaaS) offerings, either as a stand-alone service or as part of their own solutions. This enables CSP partners to expand their portfolios by being able to sell and manage the full Citrix stack.
