CommVault Enhances Partner Program
CommVault has upgraded its PartnerAdvantage partner program Service Provider (SP) Edition with new tools and other resources to support the specialized requirements of its service provider partners. The partner program is available to cloud, managed services and hosting providers who meet the program requirements, giving them access to software powered by CommVault for backup and recovery and disaster recovery, as well as advanced software for services such as archive, endpoint protection and eDiscovery.
The cloud offerings provide automated management, monitoring, automated job orchestration and process automation tools. Partner benefits include service provider-centric software licenses and pricing, program-level discounts and rebates, technical tools and enablement, technical assessments, specialized services and marketing support and funds.
Tech Data to Provide Cisco Meraki Cloud and Managed Services
Tech Data signed a U.S. distribution agreement with Cisco to offer the company’s Meraki suite of cloud and managed services to Tech Data’s channel of solution providers.
Cisco’s range of cloud offerings are available through Tech Data’s Cisco Solutions Group. The new partnership is an addition to the Cisco software-as-a-service and infrastructure-as-a-service portfolio, which includes Cisco Cloud Web Security, WebEx and Hosted Collaboration Solution.
“The Cisco Cloud Networking Group technology is now offered as part of the Cisco Cloud-Managed Networking Portfolio, and this solution is an excellent fit for organizations with distributed small sites and lean IT that are transitioning to cloud technology,” Andrew Sage, vice president of Americas Distribution at Cisco, said in a statement. “Our partner-centric go-to-market cloud model is delivering value to partners and customers through strong alliances such as our agreement with Tech Data, which opens up new revenue opportunities for channel partners through a cloud delivery model.”
Arrow, DSA Form Alliance for Converged Infrastructure Managed Services
Arrow Electronics and DSA Encore have announced an alliance to address increased customer demand for a single-source supplier of data-center and converged-infrastructure products and services. Under the agreement, DSA’s end-to-end data center solutions will be available to customers of Arrow’s S3 business, and solution providers supported by Arrow’s North American enterprise computing solutions segment.
The S3 business provides systems integration for communication, collaboration and ongoing services solutions to large and midsize businesses. Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions segment provides technology, services and support to IT solution providers.
TriCore Joins ArrowSphere
TriCore Solutions has joined ArrowSphere, the cloud services channel marketplace for Arrow Electronics; this gives Arrow’s North American solution providers access to TriCore’s hosted Oracle EBS Application Management services. These services include application functional support, database tuning, schema, lifecycle management and cloud hosting.
Arrow’s solution providers can resell TriCore’s Oracle EBS and Database Services as a stand-alone service or bundled with other services to increase the value proposition they are providing to their customers. Services include consulting for implementation, upgrades, customization and business process expertise.
