IT management software provider Kaseya is introducing a Third Party Integration program to enable independent software vendors to integrate their technology with the Kaseya platform. The offering is designed to provide Kaseya customers expanded functionality and better IT service delivery, the company said in a statement. The program is free-of-charge for participants.
Developers’ solutions are treated as an add-on element and integrated with the Virtual System Administrator using APIs. Developers will receive access to Kaseya online training and online e-support. Integrated solutions will be featured on Kaseya’s website as well as in the Kaseya Community.
“With this program, we provide the ISV with a level of integration that matches our own approach to creating Kaseya applications. Expanding the Kaseya ecosystem with tightly integrated third party applications is great for all involved,” said Jim Alves, executive vice president of strategy and product marketing at Kaseya, in a statement. “Our customers will have more options in the effective delivery of their IT services with the benefit and efficiency of one integrated management framework.”
Companies currently participating in the program include: Autotask, Catbird, ConnectWise, Highly Reliable Systems, Tigerpaw and Untangle.
“It’s important for IT service providers and MSPs to have choices in the products they use to run their business, and to be able to have those products work seamlessly together,” said Bob Godgart, president and CEO of Autotask, in a statement. “We share many customers with Kaseya, and this new integration program — in concert with the open Autotask API — will insure that both companies will be able to continue to provide solutions that benefit our mutual customers.”
