HP Inc. recently announced new benefits through its Amplify partner program to assist partners with navigating the evolving demands of the future of work with smarter, more connected experiences.

Among these new enhancements are the launch of the Amplify SuperPower Booster, an upgraded compensation structure that rewards portfolio-wide HP sales and supports flexible technology solutions, and the expansion of the Amplify AI program.

The Amplify AI program is expanding with new resources and use cases to help partners accelerate AI adoption.

Further, the organization announced that its HP Amplify Impact sustainability program has surpassed its 2025 enrollment targets.

HP Amplify Partner Program

Recently, Channel Insider sat down with Mary Beth Walker, VP & Head of Global Partner Experience and Enablement at HP, to discuss the company’s Amplify program.

Walker explained that the program, which launched in 2021, evolved from a traditional revenue-based channel program to a three-pillar structure, including payment on performance, capabilities, and collaboration.

“The way that we have our program structured, there’s two different pieces of the program you can belong to: Synergy, which requires less investment in HP and fewer incentives and then Power, which features our bigger partners– we do more business with them,” Walker explained. “The way that customers really want to buy now, we are tuning our portfolio to be able to make sure that what we sell to customers– the more you buy from within the HP portfolio– the more you buy from within the HP portfolio, the more optimized it’s going to be. We said we really need a way to be able to pay partners based on the way that we think that they should be able to or how customers want to buy.”

This led to the creation of the SuperPower Booster, which has four pillars of its own: PC, print, services, and peripherals. Each of those pillars has an accelerator for partners from which partners can benefit—the more a partner sells from these pillars, the more they’ll make in return. According to Walker, partners can earn up to 40 percent more by selling across the portfolio.

HP Amplify AI Program

The Amplify AI program will now include new customer use cases, instant access to AI experts, personalized AI pathways and training modules, one of which is the HP NVIDIA Technical Sales Strategy AI Workstation MasterClass for advanced AI knowledge.

“We really felt like we needed to take a leadership role and be able to make sure that the partners that are representing our products know what they’re talking about,” Walker said. “So, we created the Amplify AI program to be able to do that.”

Further, HP introduced a new tailored and condensed training path for partner executives, covering various AI-focused topics and featuring short video use cases highlighting AI’s business benefits.

HP Amplify Impact

Also launched in 2021, this sustainability program for channel partners has exceeded its goal of enrolling 50 percent of Amplify partners by 2025.

The program is meant to help partners meet legislative and customer demands while offering best-in-class assessments, resources, and training to support partners on their sustainability journeys.

Program participants have seen a 70 percent increase in win rates, leading to sustainable sales increasing twofold year over year.

“[The program] was really meant to help partners become really more conscious and really strategic about having a sustainability focus and strategy because we know that that’s important to our customers,” said Walker. “Now, we’re using the program to be able to help partners have better responses to RFPS, be able to look at things that are specific products that meet the needs of particular sets of customers around different sustainability aspects, and be able to really lean into how they can use and leverage the sustainability leadership of HP to sell.”

Walker added that HP aims to become the most sustainable technology company by 2030.
