Cork Protection and Rewst have announced an integration of their products aligned to meet MSP demand for an automated approach to security.
Integration offers automated approach to security vulnerabilities
Cork Protection’s risk insight engine analyzes real-time data points across client environments, providing MSPs with a comprehensive understanding of their security posture and surfacing actionable insights on potential threats and compliance gaps.
The company recently announced its policy analyzer tool, which will allow MSPs to advise their clients on cyber insurance policy questions and challenges.
Now, the vendor has teamed up with fellow MSP-focused company Rewst to integrate its security insights with Rewst’s automation capabilities. Through pre-built or custom workflows triggered by Cork’s findings, MSPs can now automate the remediation of identified risks.
This includes tasks such as:
- Patching vulnerable software,
- Isolating compromised devices,
- Enforcing security policies,
- Automatically triggering compliance event remediation
- Creating detailed tickets when manual intervention is needed
Executives tout partnership as a commitment to MSP success
Leaders from both companies told Channel Insider that the integration isn’t only about technology—it’s also about partnering to fuel business success in the channel.
“Rewst is a leader in our space because they are a community-first organization, which drives their product development in a very unique way. When you see a Rewst integration you know its in demand,” Cork Protection CEO Dan Candee said. “Their deep understanding of the Managed Service Provider ecosystem and commitment to providing value locks into Cork’s core.”
“Topped with Rewsts’ comprehensive automation capabilities and the package is truly impressive,” Candee continued. “They go beyond simple scripting and offer a robust platform capable of orchestrating complex, multi-step workflows for partners. This aligns perfectly with Cork Protection’s own dedication to continuous improvement and providing our partners with cutting-edge security solutions.”
Rewst CEO Aharon Chernin echoed Candee’s sentiments.
“We expect this integration to deliver significant value for partners. By combining Cork’s security insights with Rewst’s automation engine, MSPs can respond to threats in real time, with automated, repeatable processes that reduce risk and save time,” Chernin said.
“That said, the real magic happens when our partners innovate on top of the integration,” he continued. “Rewst is a flexible platform, and we’ve seen partners use our 80+ integrations in creative ways we never anticipated. We can’t wait to see how they leverage Cork’s capabilities in their own workflows to drive even more value for their clients.”
Jason Makevich, CISSP, the founder and CEO of security provider Greenlight Cyber, said he’s excited to see the two solutions integrate.
“Our clients benefit from our access to Cork and Rewst’s integrated platform by ensuring potential threats are swiftly identified and addressed,” Makevich said. “This proactive approach minimizes downtime, enhances compliance, and provides peace of mind, knowing their security is managed efficiently. Additionally, automation reduces the potential for human error, ensuring more reliable and consistent security management.”
Rewst is available to MSPs through various distribution channels, including Sherweb, who announced availability of the automation platform in February.
