Credential-based threat defender Dashlane has worked with channel businesses for several years and has now launched the organization’s Dashlane Partner Program to formalize the benefits for various reseller partners worldwide.

“Our partner program is foundational to our growing investment in the channel and our mission to deliver the credential security that enterprises and their employees need to thrive,” said John Bennett, CEO at Dashlane. “In this age of identity-based attacks, our program makes it easy for partners to incorporate credential security into their overall enterprise security practice and help their customers prevent breaches.”

Three-tiered program promises financial benefits and partner success

Dashlane’s new program has a traditional three-tier structure that rewards partners at different levels of growth and expertise. Those three tiers are broken down as follows:

  • Discover: Ideal for partners just getting started, offering access to training, sales materials, and initial incentives.
  • Developed: Designed for partners accelerating their credential security business, providing access to everything in Discover plus a dedicated channel sales manager and increased incentives.
  • Distinguished: The most advanced tier for partners scaling their credential security business, offering live training, top-tier incentives, and co-marketing opportunities.

Partner businesses will have access to Dashlane’s full suite of solutions to enable and secure their customers with credential management tools and alerting capabilities to keep partners and end-users aware of phishing attempts, stolen passwords, and other security concerns.

“Dashlane has a strong history of providing secure and simple to use password management and credential security tools to businesses worldwide,” said Brian O’Donnell, vice president of Carahsoft, an existing Dashlane partner. “The new, tiered program gives us a shared vision for future growth — not only based on Dashlane’s continued commitment to our business’ development, but also because they prove themselves as industry leaders, flipping the script on the traditional approach to credential security to more effectively address our customers’ needs.”

Dashlane announced in its press release that organizations in the partner program will also have access to the “industry-first solution” called Credential Risk Detection. The offering continuously monitors the use of at-risk credentials in real-time across the workforce, whether employees use a password manager or not.

“We have long seen interest from Partners in working with Dashlane, and between Dashlane’s compelling solution and the fact that Credential Security is a topic of growing interest among businesses, this was the opportune time to expand our Partner Program,” said Dashlane Vice President of Sales Jeff Cozzaglio.

“Dashlane has experienced significant success working with Channel Partners in the past, and our current partner ecosystem is a key contributor to our overall achievements. We are excited to announce the launch of an official, tiered Partner Program, aligning with the cybersecurity industry’s trend of leveraging strong Channel Partner relationships to scale rapidly while ensuring customers receive world-class service,” Cozzaglio continued.

Dashlane focused on finding the right partners to tap into emerging need

Dashlane is focused on differentiating itself from the already crowded security market by focusing on delivering credential security to complement partners’ other security offerings and enable a wholistic approach to how businesses stay secure. According to the company, it already services some 24,000 customers worldwide. Now, with a formalized partner program in place, it hopes to continue that success in 2025.

“This program is a cornerstone of our mission to simplify and secure digital identities for businesses globally. With tiered incentives and performance-driven benefits, it fosters mutual success—partners generate new revenue streams, while Dashlane solidifies its leadership in enterprise password management,” Cozzaglio said.

According to Cozzaglio, the company built the program after a period of research and analysis in which they reviewed other programs, interviewed its top-performing existing partners and worked with consulting experts to ensure the program would address partner needs while enticing new partners to join.

“Our partner ecosystem is a significant contributor to our B2B growth, which is why we are constantly collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for scaling and enhancing partner programs,” said Cozzaglio. “These opportunities informed the development of a well-rounded offering that continues to both elevate partners, and position Dashlane for sustained success.”

Dashlane is one of several vendors to announce a new partner program in the last quarter of 2024. Read more about why Nucleus Security decided the time was right to enhance its channel presence.
