Cybersecurity company, Deep Instinct, has announced the launch of Deep Instinct DSX for Cloud for Amazon S3 (DSX for Cloud – Amazon S3), a zero-day data security solution built to prevent and explain unknown attacks targeting data in cloud storage environments.

DSX for Cloud – Amazon S3 is now available in the AWS Marketplace and extends DSX for Cloud’s threat prevention capabilities to data stored within Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) buckets. This will allow organizations to securely run business applications on Amazon S3 workloads without the constant threat of malware and ransomware impacting an organization’s data.

The new solutions will allow organizations to securely run business applications on Amazon S3 workloads without malware and ransomware threatening to impact their data and business operations. DSX for Cloud enables businesses to protect sensitive data across cloud storage environments by preventing and explaining unknown threats.

According to Deep Instinct, DSX for Cloud – Amazon S3 is powered by deep learning and is the only zero-day data security solution that enables real-time prevention of unknown threats in S3 buckets. The solution scans files at lightning speeds of less than 20 milliseconds and detects malware with over 99 percent accuracy, allowing organizations to reduce operational costs by up to 50 percent.

Paired with DIANNA, the DSX Companion allows organizations to gain further insight into threats.

Among the high-level features and benefits of DSX for Cloud – S3 include:

  • Real-Time Zero-Day Attack Prevention: DSX leverages the first and only deep learning framework that is designed specifically for zero-day threat prevention.
  • Real-Time Zero-Day Attack Explainability: By harnessing DIANNA, the DSX Companion, organizations will better understand the intent behind malicious activity and how it impacts their S3 environments to build a more informed, efficient, and effective cybersecurity environment.
  • Natively Integrated and Certified: Certified integration with AWS ensures seamless operation within an existing AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Easy to Deploy and Use: With deployment and operation simplicity, DSX for Cloud – S3 automatically manages the infrastructure to detect malware payloads, provides visibility into all S3 buckets, and chooses which to protect by implementing the necessary remediation measures.
  • Enterprise Scalability: Unlimited scalability to scan extensive repositories rapidly to provide unparalleled protection for data at rest.
  • Low Total Cost of Ownership: High prevention efficacy provides a low false positive rate and minimal infrastructure requirements. It delivers the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) on the market.

“Businesses should not have to sacrifice data security for business continuity. We built DSX Cloud – Amazon S3 to rapidly detect malware before it impacts production environments,” said Yariv Fishman, Chief Product Officer at Deep Instinct. “Now, cloud security and business application teams can uphold the highest security standards in their enterprise S3 environments to confidently collaborate, innovate, and grow their business, without worrying about the next threat.”
