Birds here in the Northeast go south for the winter — following a migratory path that has existed for countless years, often ending up in Florida. Retirees here in the Northeast have followed the same path for decades, so when it comes to hard drive data migration, it should be no surprise that the latest product on the scene originates from Florida — Hollywood, Fla., to be exact.

EzMigration is Data Protection Solutions’ latest tool to make moving data from one hard drive to another a piece of cake. The product, which was released late last month, aids in copying a boot drive to new or larger drive. EzMigration uses a bit-by-bit copy method, which transfers the exact image of the entire original drive to a new one. That eliminates the tedious manual tasks of installing operating systems and applications to a new drive and preserves all of the original data. The product also includes a drive partition expansion utility.

EzMigration works under Windows XP, 2000, 2003 and Vista. The product sells for $39.99 and is available for immediate download. For additional information, visit http://www.arcoide.com/instant_migration.php.
