Logicalis announced June 12 it would tap MaintenanceNet, an online contract management company, to manage and track its services contracts for its Hewlett-Packard service customers.

The arrangement allows Logicalis quicker, cleaner visibility into its service contracts, such as renewals, expirations, uncovered assets and refresh opportunities, Logicalis executives said.

The Bloomfield Hills, Mich., VAR said it also plans to give its HP service clients access to the Web-enabled MaintenanceNet tool, which will make them aware of what they’re entitled to and allow them to make more efficient use of their contracts.

Client access to the tool could increase utilization and reduce wasted hours spent reviewing contracts on both ends, MaintenanceNet and Logicalis said.

Logicalis expects that a line of planned HP demonstration centers will close deals and boost innovations. Click here to read more.

“MaintenanceNet is helping us to add value by providing our clients with anytime access to their current maintenance contract data so that we can work together with them to proactively address upcoming requirements,” said Neil Fitzpatrick, director of services for Logicalis.

“This will save our clients money and time by providing single point of access to their critical contract data, and will help ensure that all assets are properly covered with no lapses in maintenance service.”

Logicalis has plans to expand the MaintenanceNet agreement across its services portfolio, the company said.
