From on-boarding customers to daily credit management, the company handles more than 14 million total payment transactions annually on behalf of customers and generates more than 1 million invoices monthly. The average speed to answer resellers’ calls: 8 seconds, the company said.

Ingram Micro Mobility handles more than 40,000 returned devices a day. Recovery services help businesses get the most value from returned devices.

Ingram Micro handled more than 15 million devices, including fitness trackers, wearables, Bluetooth speakers and other specialized connected products in 2014. It accepts returns from several supply chain channels, including end users, independent dealers, carrier stores, major retailers and IT enterprises.

Ingram Micro Mobility expanded its device recovery service operations at a key returns center in Plainfield, Ind., and added a facility in Costa Rica in 2013 to support demand for mobility device repair, refurbishment and recycling.

Ingram Micro Mobility provides mobility, distribution and supply chain services to the 360 Group, a consortium of four of Verizon Wireless’ largest national dealers. The company supports retail and dealer channels for a number of network operators and MVNOs, or mobile virtual network operators.

7 - Canadian ExpansionCanadian Expansion

In mid-2014, Ingram Micro Mobility acquired Global Mobility Products (GMP), a Canadian provider of mobile reverse logistics, repair and asset recovery services. This further extends the company’s reach into the Canadian mobility market to provide a suite of forward and reverse wireless device lifecycle services.

8 - Closer Ties With BlackberryCloser Ties With Blackberry

Late last year, Ingram Micro Mobility deepened its relationship with Blackberry in Canada by signing agreements to serve the unlocked smartphone market, and together, launch Blackberry Classic.

9 - European Market GrowsEuropean Market Grows

Ingram Micro acquired dat Repair GmbH, a Germany-based mobile repair and refurbishment provider, in 2014. Also last year, Ingram inked an agreement to sell Atmel’s integrated mobile device management and telecom expense management solutions across Europe.

10 - Building a Protection Products PortfolioBuilding a Protection Products Portfolio

In May 2014, Ingram Micro Mobility signed agreements to sell OtterBox and LifeProof’s lines of smartphone and tablet protection products.
