Alliance Partnership which gives solution providers a single sign-on
and clinical workflow solution to simplify and automate secure access
to sensitive health care data.

Seventh-generation virtual desktop management suite Quest
vWorkspace, in conjunction with HealthCasts’s QwickACCESS, can be used
to increase security and speed up access to clinical health
information, physician order entry modules and documentation systems
using a virtual desktop.

"We welcome HealthCast as a Technology Alliance Partner, as we work
together to take the access and delivery of health care information to
the next level," said Simon Pearce, Quest Software’s vice president and
general manager of desktop virtualization, in a statement.

"The combination of vWorkspace and QwickACCESS gives health care
professionals the simplest, quickest and most secure way to access
patient information. Workflow can be centrally managed to reduce costs
and security concerns while increasing control of the clinical desktop
environment."

By combining Quest’s VDI product with QwickACCESS, which gives users
quick access to virtual desktops using a proximity badge. Users can tap
the badge to activate a virtual desktop and switch between
computers.

"Analysts are calling QwickACCESS a game changer
because of the time it saves on every user login, which really adds
up," HealthCast CEO Joan Mehn said in a statement. "QwickACCESS to
vWorkspace continues HealthCast’s tradition of innovation to streamline
clinician workflow, strengthen data security and decrease
infrastructure management costs."
