Syncro, a platform provider for mid-sized managed service providers (MSPs) and IT departments, recently introduced its new Network Discovery solution to streamline MSP and IT operations.

Automated management and detection for network devices

The new solution is a fully integrated tool that automatically detects and manages network-connected devices. It simplifies IT operations by eliminating the need for third-party scanning tools. Syncro’s Team Plan users will receive it at no additional cost.

“During this past year, we have significantly increased our engineering pace and cadence to continuously deliver more value for our growing MSP partners,” said Michael George, CEO of Syncro. “This new capability is evidence of that commitment as we continue innovating and delivering a platform that provides value both today and well into the future.”

Designed for MSP admins, technicians, and internal IT teams, Network Discovery offers a simpler way to manage network assets efficiently. The solution is built into Syncro’s combined Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform to enable users to automatically identify workstations, servers, printers, and other network-enabled devices.

Benefits stretch across accuracy, compliance, and efficiency

With customizable discovery profiles, automated scans, and seamless agent deployment, the solution can reduce onboarding time, improve data accuracy, and strengthen compliance efforts. All of these capabilities integrated within a single platform will allow technicians to quickly bring in new clients under management while maintaining full network visibility.

The key benefits of the Network Discovery solution include:

  • Automates onboarding by streamlining asset discovery and Syncro agent installations to reduce labor and setup time.
  • Improves data accuracy by providing a comprehensive view of all network devices, thus minimizing data gaps.
  • Enhance compliance to meet regulatory requirements by maintaining a full inventory and visibility of all network assets.
  • Minimizes errors by reducing manual entry and enhances asset tracking with automated detection.
  • Identifies new revenue opportunities to find unmanaged devices, helping MSPs expand their services.

“Syncro’s new network discovery capability makes it significantly easier to map client environments and gain full visibility into what’s actually on the network,” said Des Quinn, owner of Equinox IT Consulting. “It streamlines the process of identifying devices that are untracked or have fallen off the radar, helping my team stay proactive and in control. This capability delivers immediate value by simplifying device management and strengthening overall network oversight.”

Additionally, Network Discovery aligns with Syncro’s goal of providing cost-effective, scalable IT management solutions that will assist mid-sized MSPs in streamlining operations and support business growth as maintaining visibility and operational efficiency becomes increasingly important.

Recently, Channel Insider sat down with the new chairman of Syncro’s board of directors to discuss market disruption and support for IT teams and MSPs. Read more about where Peter Gyenes sees Syncro’s position in the market.
