Managed service providers may finally have an easier way to explain exactly what their security work is accomplishing.

Guardz today unveils a new agentic reporting capability designed to simplify how managed service providers (MSPs) create, customize, and deliver security reports to customers.

Security operations get automation boost

The launch marks the company’s latest step toward what it calls an “agentic SecOps” model, where AI-powered workflows help MSPs manage growing security demands while reducing manual operational work.

According to Guardz, reporting remains one of the most challenging and time-consuming aspects of security service delivery. MSPs often need to gather information from multiple security tools to build customer reports, while investigating individual alerts can consume significant staff time.

The challenge becomes even more visible during business reviews, when providers must explain security outcomes, threat activity, and changes in customer security posture.

Conversational reporting replaces traditional workflows

The new reporting feature introduces a conversational interface that allows MSPs to interact directly with their security data.

Rather than relying on fixed report templates, users can request specific information, modify report structures, and generate tailored insights through natural-language interactions.

The system also supports follow-up questions, allowing users to refine reports and explore additional details without manually collecting data from separate systems.

Guardz pulls data across security layers

Guardz says the reporting capability pulls information from across identities, endpoints, email environments, cloud systems, and other security layers. It also incorporates identity threat detection and response (ITDR) data and incident insights into a single reporting experience.

The company says its approach relies on a federated data architecture that queries telemetry where it resides, enabling real-time reporting rather than relying on traditional centralized indexing and delayed batch processing.

Bridging the security value gap

A key goal of the new feature is to help MSPs better demonstrate the impact of their security services to customers.

Reports can highlight metrics such as blocked threats, investigated incidents, and shifts in the overall security posture. Guardz believes this can help providers present security outcomes in a way that is easier for non-technical business leaders to understand.

The company argues that many MSPs routinely prevent security incidents but face difficulties proving that value during customer discussions. As a result, renewal conversations can become focused on pricing rather than security outcomes.

“MSPs are being asked to deliver stronger security outcomes while also proving their value more clearly than ever before, and reporting has been a major challenge,” said Dor Eisner, CEO and co-Founder of Guardz.

“With agentic reporting, we’re removing that issue. MSPs can now interact directly with their data, generate insights in real time, and communicate impact in a way that is both flexible and meaningful to each customer. This is the first step in our broader vision of an agentic SecOps platform that learns how each MSP operates and scales with them.”
