Symantec announced two marketing programs aimed at helping the
company’s partners generate more demand and drive increased revenue
from Symantec’s solutions. Campaign Creator and the Partner Support
Center for Marketing were introduced to enable Symantec partners,
specifically SMBs (small and midsize businesses) to improve their
marketing campaigns and more effectively leverage Symantec’s marketing
resources.
Campaign Creator lets Symantec’s SMB partners create customized,
co-branded marketing campaigns and includes a new feature that enables
campaigns to be e-mail-blasted directly from the tool. Partner Support
Center for Marketing was created to help the company’s SMB partners
leverage the company’s marketing tools, programs, promotions, assets,
events and enablement offerings. The program provides Symantec channel
partners with a designated Symantec resource to educate them on
Symantec initiatives and help support their marketing needs.
"We’re committed to helping our partners of all sizes differentiate
their businesses and maximize their revenues with Symantec and enabling
them to do effective marketing is a key strategy for doing so. With
Campaign Creator and the Partner support Center for Marketing, we’re
helping our partners make the most of Symantec’s marketing initiatives
and also helping them more effectively execute their own marketing
efforts,” said Symantec’s vice president of North America channel sales,
Randy Cochran. “These new programs will help our partners maximize time
and budgets to drive increased demand for their solutions."
In addition to inbound support, the Partner Support Center proactive
outreach to partners across segments to help drive channel utilization
of Symantec marketing resources to help them generate more revenue with
the company’s solutions. The center is currently available in English,
German, Spanish, French, Russian and Italian to registered, gold,
silver and platinum Symantec partners in North America and EMEA. The
resource will be rolled out to other regions in late 2010, a company
release noted.

company NetCenergy, said his company serves many small business
customers and their goal is to deliver IT solutions that give them a
competitive business edge. “As a small business ourselves, we’re also
looking for ways to stand out from the competition, and marketing is a
great way for us to differentiate our business and find new sales
opportunities,” he said. “Symantec’s Campaign Creator and the Partner
Support Center for Marketing make it easy for us to reach our customers
with customized email marketing campaigns and promotions, helping us
grow our business while saving time and money."
