Converge Technology Solutions recently announced that it is establishing its Data & AI Design Studio, a program focused on guiding businesses at every stage of their AI journeys.

Converge’s Data & AI Design Studio is meant to help organizations overcome roadblocks in their AI journeys to create measurable impact and value from AI. It will provide a holistic framework that ensures AI initiatives are impactful, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals.

Studio addresses financial and technical barriers to AI

Organizations face several barriers to utilizing AI for innovation and business growth, including issues related to data quality, privacy and security, IT infrastructure, and financial justification. Converge’s Data & AI Design Studio aims to tackle the human-centered challenges that enterprises encounter and transform AI experimentation into execution.

The Design Studio offers a maturity curve for customers to identify their current stage and workshops to help them build an AI implementation strategy.

The features of this program include:

  • AI Briefing: An organizationally tailored high-level sample workshop for bridging gaps in understanding AI, its tools, and large language models (LLMs), along with potentially uncovering AI use cases within the enterprise.
  • AI Ideation Workshop: A workshop session designed to help find AI use cases within a customer’s organization that align and support achieving key business goals.
  • Use Case Assessment Roadmap: This exercise allows companies to advance their AI journey. It evaluates and prioritizes AI use cases, builds business cases for key initiatives, and establishes a strategic vision for the organization’s future.
  • AI Design Thinking: This workshop is for customers with an identified AI use case. It confirms or establishes perspectives on business viability, implementation complexity, impact, and ROI. It helps provide customers with clarity on making informed go-or-no-go decisions.
  • AI Solution Design: This multi-week technical design initiative for organizations with a solid use case for an AI solution they’re ready to invest in equips teams with what they need to implement the vision, from technical architecture and product backlog to wireframes and project plans.

“72 percent of businesses have adopted AI in at least one business function. Proactively addressing the roadblocks these organizations face will fast-track AI adoption and maximize its impact,” said Greg Berard, CEO of Converge. “Regardless of a company’s AI maturity, organizations fear they are being outpaced by competitors, leading to an investment frenzy in the technology. Our Data & AI Design Studio enables customers to think long-term in their Artificial Intelligence journey and provides the foundational support needed for success.”

Converge recently acquired by H.I.G. Capital

The Converge Data & AI Design Studio is among the organization’s first moves following its acquisition by H.I.G. Capital.

In an all-case transaction, Converge will join the current H.I.G.-owned entity, Mainline Information Systems, LLC., a diversified IT solutions provider specializing in enterprise server, hybrid cloud, cyber storage, and network & security solutions, along with providing associated professional and managed services.

Berard will be the CEO of the combined companies, while Jeff Dobbelaere, President and CEO of Mainline, will take on the role of President.

“Converge is proud to begin a new chapter alongside H.I.G. Capital,” said Berard, at the time of the acquisition announcement. “This partnership not only ensures meaningful value for our shareholders, but also lays the foundation to enhance how we serve our customers. As technology continues to reshape industries worldwide, delivering comprehensive and forward-thinking solutions is vital to helping our clients succeed. We’re excited to continue leading the way as a transformative force in the IT industry.”

Together, Converge and Mainline will provide complementary products and services, enabling them to better serve customers with a wider and more diverse range of solutions in cybersecurity, cloud, and digital infrastructure.

“We are excited to be joining forces with Converge as we enter the next phase in our growth journey,” said Dobbelaere. “Our specialization in hybrid cloud, on-premises infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software solutions complements Converge’s established expertise. Together, we’re poised to create meaningful growth opportunities for our employees to expand our service offerings and provide sought after solutions in the marketplace.”
