Qualtrics, an experience management company, has named five new senior leaders to its team across sales, marketing, and product.

Among the new appointments are:

“As AI redefines what people expect from every experience in their lives, Qualtrics is raising the standard for what Experience Management can do across every industry we serve,” said Jason Maynard, CEO of Qualtrics.

“We are adding proven, world-class talent to our team to give our customers the experience, technology, and support they need to move faster and deliver trusted, outcome-driven experiences in every moment that matters.”

Block named CSO to help customers win with Experience Management

Leading Qualtrics’ Sales organization, including Sales, Sales Development, Solutions Engineering, Revenue Operations, Partnerships & Alliances, and Sales Enablement, Block comes over from Motive, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer.

He’ll be tasked with scaling teams, systems, and execution to help customers drive faster, more measurable value from Experience Management (XM).

“I’ve always been drawn to the work that makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives. In the AI era, few challenges matter more for organizations than the experiences they deliver and the outcomes those experiences make possible,” said Block. “Qualtrics created the Experience Management category by helping organizations better understand the experiences they deliver. What’s exciting now is that AI changes what’s possible. We’re moving beyond understanding experiences to improving outcomes, often in real time.”

Coleman to lead Qualtrics’ global marketing organization

As Senior Vice President, Marketing, Coleman will lead Qualtrics’ global marketing organization to further establish the XM category in the AI era.

His focus will be aimed at elevating the Qualtrics brand through storytelling centered on customer impact and best practices.

“As AI changes the world around us, Experience Management has never been more important,” said Coleman.

“The opportunity ahead is to demonstrate how the organizations that succeed will be those that understand people well enough to act on what matters to them before it’s too late. Today, experience is the business. Great experiences drive growth, increase efficiency, strengthen trust, and build relationships where everyone is treated in the way they deserve and want to be.”

Scaling the XM AI & data platform

Hoang will lead Qualtrics’ Product Management and Design organization to enhance the next generation of AI-driven capabilities Qualtrics is building for XM.

“My career has sat at the intersection of data, AI, and product, and the thread connecting all of it is a genuine belief that the right enabling platform, built the right way, can make the impossible possible and delight customers,” Hoang said.

“AI is transforming every industry, and navigating it well takes the kind of outside-the-box thinking I’ve relied on throughout my career as an entrepreneur.”

The 30-year vet has held key roles at organizations such as Inference and Siperian, as well as senior roles at Oracle NetSuite and IBM.

“As AI permanently changes what people expect from every experience in their lives, organizations need to understand the people they serve behind every interaction, and solve their problems in ways that are intelligent, responsive, and predictable before it’s too late.”

Hoang appointed to scale expertise and accelerate customer returns from XM

Hoang has been appointed to lead the Qualtrics Global Sales Engineering organization, where he will oversee the company’s Solution Strategy and Solution Engineering team.

The Global Sales Engineering organization works to equip customers with the technical expertise and strategic guidance required to accelerate and grow their returns from XM.

Hoang brings more than 25 years of experience to the position, most recently serving as Worldwide Field Chief Technology Officer at Salesforce.

“One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned through my career is that successful technology initiatives are never just about the technology. The organizations that get the greatest value treat them as business transformation, backed by executive sponsorship, change management, and a well-defined data strategy,” said Hoang.

“This is the approach I’m bringing to Qualtrics to ensure our customers get a trusted partner who can help them achieve meaningful business outcomes. Our team will be strategic advisors who help customers build sustainable, long-term Experience Management programs.”

Aaron Ellis chosen as the new Corporate Sales lead

Ellis will lead Qualtrics’ Corporate Sales organization, leading the company’s corporate sales teams to provide customers with dedicated support and deeper expertise from purchase through renewed investment in XM.

Ellis spent nearly a decade at Workday before joining Qualtrics, and also spent time at NetSuite as part of its global sales organization.

“Helping customers simplify complex business challenges and turn technology into measurable business outcomes is what I’m most focused on bringing to Qualtrics,” said Ellis.

“That comes from a career spent building and scaling organizations during some of the most transformative moments in enterprise software – from helping build a global organization at NetSuite to leading large organizations at Workday. Along the way, I learned that great companies are built by great leaders, a culture of accountability, and an unrelenting focus on the customer.”
