TechnologyMatch is adding a deeper discovery layer to its IT buyer marketplace through a new partnership with Get IT Sense, aiming to better qualify customer needs before MSPs and other technology providers enter the sales process.

TechnologyMatch adds deeper discovery to buyer matching

The partnership will enable TechnologyMatch to pair a buyer whose need aligns with the Get IT Sense portfolio directly with Get IT Sense.

Get IT Sense can then conduct a discovery process to understand the organization’s business requirements, current environment, priorities, budget, risk, and other considerations before identifying the MSP or technology partner that can address the need.

“Technology buyers don’t need more vendors competing for their attention. They need a better way to get to the right solution,” said Tonya Turrell, CEO and co-founder of TechnologyMatch. “TechnologyMatch was built to put the buyer and the buying need at the center of the process.”

“Our partnership with Get IT Sense extends that model by adding deeper discovery where it matters, so the buyer can move forward with greater clarity and the provider enters the conversation with a much stronger understanding of the opportunity,” Turrell added.

Get IT Sense assesses business and technology requirements

This partnership model is meant to add a deeper layer of discovery, moving simply beyond handing a buyer to a provider.

The deeper layer before the final provider recommendation helps ensure the solution and partner are aligned to what the organization is trying to resolve.

Get IT Sense supports evaluations for complex IT decisions by clarifying requirements, reviewing the current environment, comparing potential approaches, coordinating technical discovery, and identifying the MSP or technology partner that aligns with a buyer’s needs.

“Our role is to help customers clearly understand what they’re solving for before they commit to a solution,” said Scott Raymer, CEO of Get IT Sense. “That means looking at the business need, current environment, cost, risk, and available options so leadership can make a well-informed technology decision.”

Partnership aims to improve MSP and provider alignment

TechnologyMatch’s approach starts with a real buyer need and creates a buyer-controlled path to relevant providers.

Through the partnership with Get IT Sense, that approach is extended for technology needs that benefit from deeper discovery, with the buyer gaining additional clarity around the problem, the environment, and the solution requirements before the right MSP or technology partner is introduced.

Both companies support organizations that are evaluating cybersecurity, cloud and infrastructure, communications, connectivity, data protection, managed services, AI, and other technology initiatives.
