Fred Voccola steps down as CEO of Kaseya
Kaseya, a global provider of AI-powered cybersecurity and IT management software will be searching for a new CEO as Fred Voccola steps into a vice chairman role.
“With Kaseya coming off the strongest quarter and year in our history, now is the right time for me to step up into the role of Vice Chairman and hand over operating responsibilities to a new CEO,” said Voccola. “It has been the honor of my professional life to lead Kaseya and work alongside the talented team that has driven our success.”
Voccola had served as CEO of the company for 10 years and his new role will reportedly allow him to focus on long-range innovation and go-to-market strategies.
“Kaseya’s future is incredibly bright, and I’m excited to work with Fred and the board to identify a new leader who will guide the company through this transformative period,” said current Kaseya board member Kevin Thompson.
David Powell becomes CRO & Brook Lee named VP of community and channel at Liongard
Liongard, a leader in Attack Surface Management for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT service providers, recently announced two new appointments to its leadership team for business growth.
David Powell has joined Liongard from Pax8 to take over as the company’s new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Brook Lee has joined the company from ScalePad to be Liongard’s new Vice President of Community and Channel.
In his new role, Powell will help drive Liongard’s global revenue strategy, concentrating on accelerating growth, scaling partner success, and ensuring partners maximize the platform’s value.

Todd out as CEO of Pia, will remain TimeZest CEO
Gerwai Todd, who was previously serving as CEO of both Pia and TimeZest, will be stepping down as CEO of Pia while continuing to serve as TimeZest CEO.
Pia will operate under its CEO Executive Group and establish a Growth Advisory Committee to guide its future direction and maintain continuity as it conducts its CEO search.
As Pia CEO, Todd oversaw the alignment of the organization around a roadmap that includes AITriage, along with ushering in new pricing to assist MSPs in embracing Pia’s capabilities and growing the customer base.
Starburst appoints Lisa Luscap as chief marketing officer
Hybrid data lakehouse company for AI Starburst recently announced the appointment of Lisa Luscap as chief marketing officer (CMO).
In her new role, Luscap will lead Starburst’s next phase of growth and accelerate awareness of their data and AI platform, powered by OS Trino. Before joining the company, Luscap served as CMO at Pluralsight and helped lead marketing efforts at Snowflake.

Flashpoint announces David Lemon as its new president
Data and intelligence company Flashpoint has bolstered its executive bench by bringing in David Lemon as its new president to help accelerate growth for the company.
Joining from Archer Integrated Risk Management, Lemon joins Flashpoint as the company continues its mission to improve cyber threat and vulnerability intelligence, reduce geopolitical risk, bolster physical security and fraud, and brand protection.
Lemon most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer and has experience in numerous other roles, helping establish expertise in building high-performing teams, scaling operations, and navigating competitive markets.
Broadcom appoints Brian Moars as channel chief
Global technology developer Broadcom announced that it would be naming Brian Moats as their new Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Sales and Partners.
It was announced back in December that Broadcom’s previous channel chief, Cindy Loyd, would transition to a new role within one of Broadcom’s Business Units.
“Brian Moats has a strong background in developing and implementing successful partner strategies that deliver measurable outcomes,” Broadcom said in a statement to ChannelE2E. Before joining Broadcom, he held senior leadership positions at leading organizations where he drove transformative initiatives, strengthened partnerships, and achieved revenue growth.”
According to Broadcom, Moats will focus on strengthening partnerships, driving growth through partners in the commercial segment, and enhancing organizational value.
Sanjib Sahoo promoted to president of Ingram Micro’s Global Platform Group
Longtime executive Sanjib Sahoo has been appointed Ingram Micro’s new president of its Global Platform Group to lead its strategy and collaborate with key leadership to further develop the company’s Xvantage platform.
“Ingram Micro has built upon its decades of experience to become a disruptive leader and digital force in the global technology industry,” said Ingram Micro CEO Paul Bay in a statement. “I’m pleased to announce the appointment of Sanjib as President of our Global Platform Group. A proven business strategist and digital innovator, Sanjib’s expanded leadership and dedicated team will better support and accelerate our vision of becoming a platform company that will reinvent the B2B customer experience through Xvantage.”
Sahoo will focus on platform development, the innovation flywheel, global growth, services and support, and the business expansion plans for Ingram Micro’s platform operating model.
Cynomi Hires Dror Hevlin as new CISO
Security advising vendor and vCISO platform, Cynomi, announced that it has hired former CyberArk CISO Dror Hevlin as their new CISO.
In his new role, Hevlin will focus on internal and external security strategies that span safeguarding client data, risk management practices, product methodologies, and more, along with fulfilling his traditional CISO roles.

CGS makes changes to its leadership team
Applications, learning, and outsourcing company, CGS, recently announced the promotion of Vladimir Sterescu to president of its global outsourcing division. He will lead a diverse team of business process outsourcing (BPO) specialists across multiple regions while driving innovative solutions for clients in call center solutions and customer experience.
“Vlad’s extensive expertise and innovative approaches to driving client success make him the ideal leader for our outsourcing division,” said Phil Friedman, the president and CEO of CGS. “The next few years will be transformational in customer experience as clients embrace AI and other advanced technologies. Further, CGS has named Cristian Berdilă vice president of operations for CGS Romania, and Michael Mills as senior vice president of global sales and customer success.
Deepwatch adds a new CMO and a new chief product officer
Managed security platform for cybersecurity, Deepwatch, has added two new members to their C-suite: Sammie Walker as Chief Marketing Officer and Anand Ramanathan as Chief Product Officer.

Walker will lead Deepwatch’s marketing efforts, while Ramanathan will join Deepwatch to lead product vision and engineering execution.
Smartsheet appoints new VP of partner
Project and work management platform Smartsheet recently announced the appointment of Eva Schoenleitner as their new vice president of partner.
In this role, Schoenleitner will lead the evolution of Smartsheet’s partner ecosystem, which includes solution providers, business partners, and system integrators. Before joining Smartsheet, Schoenleitner served as CEO of Crate.io, was group vice president of digital partnerships at ABB, and spent 11 years at Microsoft in different sales, channels, and product management roles, both on the regional and global scale. Additionally, she serves on the board of directors at Pratexo.

Appfire appoints new CEO
Global software company Appfire recently announced the appointment of Matt Dircks as their new CEO.
The former CEO of BeyondTrust and Appfire board member will take over for current Founder and CEO Randall Ward, who will assume the role of founder and CEO emeritus, focusing on supporting Appfire’s culture, working with founders from acquisitions, and nurturing executive relationships.
“I’ve consistently been in awe of Appfire’s leadership team and their ability to innovate and grow at scale without faltering in their commitment to culture,” said Dircks. “I’m proud to be part of a company founded with a people-first mindset and honored that Randall and the board have chosen me to help propel Appfire into its next phase of growth.”
