Hexnode, the enterprise software division of Mitsogo Inc., recently unveiled Hexnode XDR (Extended Detection and Response) and previewed its upcoming Hexnode DEX (Digital Employee Experience) at the annual HexCon25 user conference in Georgia on September 17.
Hexnode’s expansion into endpoint security
Launched during HexCon25, Hexnode XDR is the company’s entry into the endpoint security space, aiming to provide IT admins with real-time capabilities to detect, investigate, and remediate threats.
In an official press release, Hexnode announced that its XDR solution enables organizations to leverage visual analytics to prioritize remediation efforts based on risk impact. The platform assigns severity scores, generating actionable insights that help administrators address threats more effectively.
Apu Pavithran, founder and chief executive officer, emphasized the importance of swift threat remediation and cautioned against the use of disjointed tools that can slow response.
“Hexnode XDR consolidates endpoint and security visibility, empowering organizations with the insight and control to detect, investigate, and neutralize threats decisively,” said Pavithran.
Currently, Hexnode XDR is available for Windows, with plans for macOS and mobile releases already underway.
Digital employee experience solution in the works
Meanwhile, the company also announced plans to eventually launch Hexnode DEX, short for digital employee experience, positioning it as a solution designed to “reduce digital friction,” improve employee satisfaction, and boost IT team productivity.
The platform will provide teams with a DEX score for each user, calculated from endpoint performance, application status, and user sentiment, to help IT teams identify and resolve issues more effectively.
Hexnode DEX will also feature a Self-Service Portal, allowing end users to perform IT-specific actions without needing to contact support.
Other announcements at HexCon25
In addition to its XDR and upcoming DEX solutions, Hexnode unveiled several product updates during its annual conference.
For starters, Hexnode UEM, the company’s flagship unified endpoint management platform, now supports Zebra printers on Link-OS. This enhancement enables administrators to enroll printers and deploy profiles with the required settings and templates.
The company also announced that its patch management capabilities have been extended to Linux devices, in addition to Windows and macOS, for more efficient deployment of OS and application patches.
Lastly, Hexnode Genie—Hexnode’s AI assistant—has also introduced a global search feature that provides more comprehensive search functionality across enrolled devices.
