Aruba Networks inked its third distribution deal of the year today, announcing an agreement with Avnet Technology Solutions to distribute the vendor’s complete line of mobility and wireless LAN products to North American solution providers.

Aruba gear–including its Aruba Mobility Controllers, wireless LAN access points, Remote Access Point and Secure Enterprise Mesh software, ArubaOS Mobility software, and the Aruba Mobility Management System–will be distributed as a part of ATS’ Business Innovation practice, according to Avnet officials in Tempe, Ariz.

Jack Morris, vice president of business innovation at Avnet Technology Solutions said the distributor chose Aruba because its products fit well with Avnet’s own line of branded servers and storage. “Avnet is targeting specific technology and vertical markets that we think have the potential to really impact growth rates for our partners,” said Morris. “Aruba’s technology not only differentiates our partners with their end customers, but can also be part of a broader solution, including server technologies, software and services.”

For Aruba, the Avnet deal comes on the heels of two similar distribution agreements. In May, the Sunnyvale, Calif. networking vendor struck a distribution deal with Westcon to market and distribute Aruba’s full product line throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. And last month, Catalyst Telecom agreed to distribute Aruba’s gear to its North American solution provider channel.

“Aruba has now assembled a powerful triumvirate of distribution partners–Avnet, Catalyst, and Westcon–that cover all of our major vertical markets and many key geographic regions,” said Peter Cellarius, Aruba’s vice president of business development. “Through these partners we’ll be providing high-touch, high-care support to a much larger base of VARs, many of whom we haven’t previously done business with. This adds tremendous leverage to Aruba’s sales programs. Aruba, in turn, will add depth to our partners’ secure mobility offerings, enabling them to bundle packages of higher added-value products.”
