Nasuni has launched File IQ Premium and Ops IQ, two new tools designed to give enterprises real-time visibility and control over their unstructured data and infrastructure. The tools are now part of the Nasuni File Data Platform and are designed to help IT teams respond more quickly to capacity challenges, usage anomalies, and system performance issues.
File activity alerts and AI-ready structuring
The additions arrive as organizations continue to face pressure to govern sprawling data estates while preparing for AI adoption. File IQ Premium focuses on file activity to deliver detailed analytics, user behavior alerts, and search capabilities for massive file volumes. Ops IQ, meanwhile, offers a centralized view into resource use across edge appliances without requiring extra setup.
Nasuni says File IQ Premium enables teams to uncover usage patterns, detect overcapacity risks, and prepare metadata for machine learning workflows. It includes chargeback-ready cost tracking, anomaly detection, and global search across enterprise data footprints.
The system is built to help service desks respond faster and reduce the burden of file recovery and troubleshooting.
“File IQ’s proactive alerts and reporting have given us the visibility we need to stay ahead of storage challenges and make faster, smarter decisions,” said John Stachlewicz, Service Manager at DOW. “With Ops IQ, that same level of intelligence now extends to our infrastructure.”
Infrastructure monitoring without additional tools
Ops IQ provides appliance and volume dashboards to monitor CPU, cache, data protection, and propagation status across locations. It also offers a zero-deployment model that allows IT teams to access these insights directly through the Nasuni Portal.
Senior Vice President of Product at Nasuni, Nick Burling, said, “File IQ and Ops IQ transform the file system from a silent repository into an active intelligence layer. We’re giving our customers the visibility, autonomy, and AI readiness they need to thrive in the next generation of data-driven IT.”
File IQ Premium is available now through capacity-based licensing, while Ops IQ is included as part of the enhanced portal experience at no additional cost.
