The announcement of CrowdStrike Financial Services, new product integrations, and several platform updates are among the many bits of news that came out of the annual Fal.Con event held by the company last week.

CrowdStrike Financial Services promises consolidation, signals shift in how partners finance

Perhaps the most significant announcement made during Fal.Con was the introduction of a new subsidiary business, called CrowdStrike Financial Services, wholly owned by the security company and focused on providing payment options and customer service and support to channel partners and end-user businesses.

The announcement released on September 17 promises a few key services that will be provided by the subsidiary, including:

  • Simple, comprehensive financing: In-house financing and easy to understand terms expedite access to financing for Falcon platform adoption.
  • Flexible payments: Monthly, quarterly, annual, skip, step, and customizable payment structures support budget predictability while maximizing financial resources.
  • Partner and customer support: CrowdStrike Financial Services works directly with customers and partners for the most optimal way to acquire CrowdStrike technology and services.
  • Hands-on customer service: Seasoned finance professionals provide expertise and support during product acquisition and throughout the financial agreement.

“Eliminating complexity does not end with technology. On our mission to stop breaches, we are committed to making every point in the security process frictionless for our customers and partners,” said George Kurtz, CEO and founder of CrowdStrike, in the release. “The Falcon platform consolidates disjointed point products, Falcon Flex provides customers flexibility to deploy what they need, when they need it, and now CrowdStrike Financial Services transforms the financing experience by offering seamless and flexible options for adopting the Falcon platform.”

Falcon platform innovations unify end-to-end security with AI demand and IT operational needs

On the second day of the conference, CrowdStrike unveiled new and updated solutions available within their Falcon platform. Among the capabilities include a new user experience referred to as Project Kestrel, which the vendor describes as “all-in-one view of an organization’s security environment.”

Other additional features include AI engines within the platform’s endpoint security offering built to automate threat detection and response. Falcon Cloud Security now offers AI posture management and data posture management, two tools designed to keep enterprises secured against threats through large language models, GenAI tools, and the movement of data.

AI-enabled security is found throughout the list of innovations, including through the GenAI tool Charlotte, which platform users can now direct to triage detected threats. According to CrowdStrike, the GenAI model has been trained on the “expertise of the elite Falcon Complete team.”

New automated workflows, vulnerability assessments, and management tools are also now available across Falcon components.

Falcon platform gains integrations with products for deeper focus an AI and security

The Falcon platform also has a slew of new integrations available to target efficiencies across everything from AI to zero trust security and code fixes.

The various integrations include:

  • Zscaler: The security vendor’s Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange and Data Fabric for Security solutions are now integrated with CrowdStrike’s SIEM capabilities within its platform.
  • Dazz: The two companies will partner within the CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security offering to utilize Dazz remediation insights within the platform.

Fal.con 2024 welcomed its large ecosystem of partners and customers to Las Vegas for three days to participate in educational sessions, demos and testing opportunities, and networking within the CrowdStrike ecosystem. The company presented its annual customer and partner awards at the event, too.

CrowdStrike will likely remain in the spotlight through next week, as its senior vice president of Counter Adversary Operations Adam Meyers will testify before the U.S. House Homeland Security committee on September 24. The hearing was called in response to the major outage in July caused by CrowdStrike across millions of Windows devices.
