Every channel-centric vendor strives to build and maintain solid, well-oiled channel programs that provide their partners with products, training, support, marketing and the opportunity to earn profits. But only a handful of vendors have partner programs that stand out in the pack. This year, Channel Insider awarded top honors to Hewlett-Packard in the Class A category and Fortinet in Class B.
The Partner Program of the Year in the Class A considered vendors with more than $1 billion in revenues. While many programs in this class are worthy of recognition, HP was the true standout. HP distinguished itself by helping partners make a big push into the lucrative SMB marketplace. It also made several improvements to its PartnerOne program.

The Partner Program of the Year in the Class B considered vendors with less than $1 billion in revenues. Many vendors were considered for the honor in this class, but Fortinet rose to the top. Fortinet continues to build by releasing channel-friendly products, providing excellent partner support and building out a vibrant community. The strength of its channel is one of the biggest factors that allowed Fortinet to go public in one of the most challenging economic years.

The Channel Insider Bull’s Eye Awards is a community-driven recognition of excellence of the vendors, executives, solution providers, products, advocates and communities that make up the channel. Award winners—selected by Channel Insider’s editorial team, members of the Channel Insider Alliance and industry experts—are lauded for their contributions to the channel community in the past year. Winners will be announced between Dec. 16 and Dec. 22.
