Endpoint data protection vendor Credant Technologies has hired a new channel chief — a former EMC channel executive.
Greg Clock joins the Dallas-based company as vice president of strategic alliances and worldwide channels. In his new role Clock will be responsible for the channel, alliance and development teams. He will be based in Credant’s headquarters in Dallas.
Clock most recently served as director of global alliances at EMC where he built and managed $165 million in strategic relationships with partners such as ACS, Perot Systems and IBM Global Services, according to a statement issued by Credant.
Before EMC, Clock worked for Legato, which EMC acquired. At Legato, Clock’s final position was as vice president of the company’s professional consulting group. His career also included jobs with HP and Amdahl.
