CyberFOX has acquired Microsoft 365 security provider Optimize365, expanding its cybersecurity portfolio with continuous tenant monitoring, configuration hardening, and automated remediation capabilities designed to help IT teams and managed service providers address security risks across customer environments.

CyberFOX adds M365 environment security layer

CyberFOX’s portfolio already covers privileged access management (PAM), password management, AI-powered DNS filtering, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). Now, Microsoft 365 environments add another layer of complexity, with configurations, permissions, and security settings.

Adding Optimize365 expands CyberFOX’s ability to help IT teams identify and address risks across both endpoint and cloud environments.

“Cybersecurity isn’t just about building walls; it’s about knowing exactly where the cracks are before someone else finds them,” said Charles Love, COO, ShowTech Solutions. “With Optimize365, we’ve given our team real-time visibility into configuration drift across our customer environments, catching the small gaps that too often turn into major vulnerabilities.”

“It’s helped us move from reactive firefighting to proactive defense, and that shift has been a game-changer for how ShowTech Solutions protects our clients’ data,” Love continued.

For customers, the acquisition means:

  • Comprehensive coverage of the attack surface: Extended protection from endpoints, privileged access, credentials, and web traffic into the M365 environment.
  • Reduce the burden of Microsoft 365 security: Continuously identify configuration drift, prioritize high-risk changes, and automate remediation so IT teams don’t have to monitor everything manually.
  • Manage security from one portfolio: Bring complementary endpoint, identity, connectivity, and M365 security capabilities together under one provider.

“IT teams are facing an increasingly complex access attack surface, from endpoints and identities to Microsoft 365 and beyond,” said David Bellini, CEO, CyberFOX. “Our goal is to give them a comprehensive suite of security platforms that protects the full access attack surface, without adding more complexity.”

Optimize365 maintains branding and promises no service disruption to customers

The acquisition immediately adds Optimize365’s continuous Microsoft 365 monitoring, configuration hardening, and automated remediation capabilities to CyberFOX’s security portfolio.

For existing Optimize365 partners and customers, the company says there will be no disruption to service, support, or contracts, and that Optimize365 will continue to operate under its existing brand.

While the acquisition expands CyberFOX’s security offerings, integration into its partner program and broader product roadmap will take place over the next few quarters. Specific changes to partner access, licensing, or product integrations have not yet been announced.

“Optimize365 expands what CyberFOX can deliver to these teams, giving them a more complete approach to security without adding another complex platform to manage,” said Adam Slutskin, CRO, CyberFOX. “It’s a natural extension of our mission to give lean IT teams the tools they need to stay ahead of threats.”

The acquisition comes on the heels of its June acquisition of Timus Networks, a SASE provider, and a nine-figure growth investment led by Level Equity and Radian Capital in February.
