Ingram Micro is adding CyberFOX’s cybersecurity portfolio to its North American distribution lineup, giving VARs access to privileged access management, password management, and AI-powered DNS filtering tools for SMB, midmarket, and enterprise customers.

Gaining access to CyberFOX’s portfolio

Ingram Micro’s value-added resellers (VARs) serving SMBs, mid-market, and enterprise customers across North America will gain access to the full CyberFOX portfolio under the agreement, including:

  • CyberFOX AutoElevate for PAM: This solution removes local admin rights and elevates only the applications a partner or IT admin approves.
  • CyberFOX Password Manager: This handles shared and personal credentials with role-based access.
  • CyberFOX AI-powered DNS filtering: Blocks malicious and policy-violating domains at the revolver, with AI categorization that maintains pace with newly registered threat infrastructure.

“IT teams are stretched thin and still expected to keep everything secure,” said Os Haque, VP Global Channels of CyberFOX. “We built CyberFOX to give those teams practical cybersecurity that deploys in hours, not months, and runs without a consulting bill or a team of specialists. Ingram Micro’s reach across the North American channel and the speed of the Xvantage platform put our products in front of the resellers serving organizations that need them most.”

These products are available now through Ingram Micro Xvantage, an AI-powered digital experience platform.

“As identity-based attacks continue to rise, organizations are prioritizing solutions that strengthen privileged access controls, protect credentials, and support Zero Trust security strategies,” said Eric Kohl, Vice President, Global Vendor Engagement, Ingram Micro.

“The addition of CyberFOX reflects our ongoing commitment to expanding our cybersecurity portfolio with innovative solutions that will help our shared channel partners address their customers’ evolving security requirements with solutions that reduce credential-related risk while simplifying security operations,” added Kohl.

CyberFOX builds on investment and Timus acquisition

In February, CyberFox announced a nine-figure investment led by Level Equity. At the time, the company’s co-founders explained that CyberFox’s first external investment was intended to accelerate product development.

“This funding really fortifies us to scale. We’re trying to build a Palo Alto Networks of sorts for the channel,” David Bellini told Channel Insider at the time. “Most MSPs serve SMBs, and for those SMBs, the attack surface has exponentially increased.”

CyberFox then acquired Timus Networks in June to add the latter’s SASE and zero-trust capabilities to the platform. The companies said the deal also addresses a common pain point for MSPs dealing with tool sprawl and a high amount of point solutions within an increasingly large portfolio.

Ingram Micro expands Xvantage capabilities for partners

Recently, Ingram Micro expanded the AI capabilities of its Xvantage platform with an Integration Hub and Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server to help channel partners connect AI assistants with business data, workflows, and existing IT systems.

This MCP Server provides partners with a standardized way to connect their AI assistants and agents to Xvantage, rather than requiring them to use a standalone chatbot.

“We are removing one of the channel’s longest-standing barriers to innovation, which is digitally connecting distribution, data, tools, and customer workflows – and replacing it with a more intelligent, connected ecosystem experience that will span the globe,” said Sanjib Sahoo, executive vice president and president, Global Platform Group, Ingram Micro.
