Deutsche Telekom is using AudioCodes’ VoiceAI Connect platform to power its new Voice AI Notes Mobile service for small and midsize businesses (SMBs), bringing AI-powered communications capabilities to customers while maintaining control over sensitive voice data.

The deployment integrates Deutsche Telekom’s mobile network with Mistral AI services within its T Cloud environment, allowing the telecommunications provider to introduce new AI capabilities without overhauling existing network infrastructure.

The approach also offers a potential model for service providers looking to expand their AI offerings while addressing data sovereignty and security requirements.

VoiceAI Connect integrates AI with existing networks

With a modular architecture and open APIs, VoiceAI Connect decouples voice connectivity from AI model and speed technologies, enabling organizations to adopt new AI capabilities as requirements and technology evolve while reducing the need to rework existing network and business application integrations.

The solution leverages AudioCodes SBC to deliver connectivity across carrier and enterprise voice networks. It can be deployed within organizations’ own data centers or cloud environments to support sovereign AI services and control over where sensitive voice and AI workloads are processed.

It helps organizations address data residency, security, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements while allowing them to retain flexibility in their choice of AI technology – as evidenced by Deutsche Telekom’s deployment within its T Cloud environment illustrates this approach.

“For AI services involving business communications, innovation, flexibility, and digital sovereignty need to go hand in hand,” said Yehuda Herscovici, Vice President, Product at AudioCodes.

“VoiceAI Connect is designed for this model, combining open integration across AI technologies with flexible deployment inside the service provider’s controlled environment. Its deployment within Deutsche Telekom’s T Cloud demonstrates how advanced Voice AI services can evolve rapidly while maintaining control over sensitive voice and AI workloads.”

Deployment offers a model for service provider AI services

VoiceAI Connect enables new use cases to be configured and introduced within weeks of integration into the network, including voice agents, Agent Assist, call summarization, real-time translation, and automated follow-up actions.

The flexibility helps service providers and enterprises expand adoption of voice AI across customer engagement, employee productivity, and business process automation.

It shortens time-to-market and creates opportunities to generate revenue sooner, with less dependence on lengthy traditional feature development cycles.

“AudioCodes has been a trusted technology partner of Deutsche Telekom for many years, supporting our business communications services with reliable voice and data connectivity,” said Claudia Buhne, Vice President Portfolio/Business Communication & Collaboration at Deutsche Telekom Geschäftskunden GmbH.

“VoiceAI Connect extends this collaboration into AI by seamlessly integrating and orchestrating our mobile network with Mistral AI services, while giving us the flexibility to bring new AI-powered capabilities to our customers quickly,” said Buhne.
