Westcon-Comstor has made its multi-vendor online marketplace, PartnerCentral, available in a further eight countries across the Asia-Pacific region.

In the region, PartnerCentral was already available to partners in Malaysia, Japan, and Hong Kong. Now that has been expanded to Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and South Korea.

Australia was given access to PartnerCental earlier this year, and New Zealand was one of the pilot locations, having access from mid-2022.

PartnerCentral allows partners to source hardware, software and services on a single B2B e-Commerce platform. Westcon-Comstor claims that the self-service, automation and vendor integrations mean that partners benefit from improved sales cycles and can boost their as-a-service solutions.

“We’re excited to be bringing the benefits of PartnerCentral to eight more key markets in Asia,” Wilson Ho, Managing Director, Asia at Westcon-Comstor, said in a release. “We’ve had extremely positive feedback from existing PartnerCentral users across APAC and further afield, with many observing that it is saving them time and effort while aiding their transition to subscription and recurring revenue models.

“We ultimately want all our partners worldwide to accelerate their growth by harnessing the power of PartnerCentral, and today’s expansion represents a key milestone in our global rollout.”

Westcon-Comstor Also Boosting Security Solutions

In related news this week, Westcon-Comstor also announced a partnership with cloud security specialist, Zscaler. This makes it the first distributor that has been authorised to deliver Zscaler professional services.

This is on top of the big MSSP pitch that the distributor made with another security vendor, Check Point, in November.

“This agreement exemplifies how we are adding value to the channel and specifically to our partners through innovative collaborations, ultimately bringing enhanced security and efficiency to end-user businesses while enabling partners to maintain strong relationships with their customers.” Martin Flensburg, VP, Business Operations, Global Supply Chain Solutions and Services at Westcon-Comstor said of the new Zscaler partnership.

With MSSPs anticipating a strong year ahead, having access to an expanded range of tools through a platform like PartnerCentral will surely be helpful as they scale up.
