Australian boutique distributor, Manage Protect, is bringing MSPs a new security solution to weave into their offering, after inking a deal with Israeli security firm Guardz.

Guardz provides a solution against phishing, ransomware, account breaches, data loss, and user risks. It pitches its solution largely towards the SMB market.

The opportunity for Guardz, Manage Protect, and its network of MSPs is strong. Australia struggles with a severe skills shortage in cybersecurity, which means that SMBs in particular are often unable to resource an adequate internal cybersecurity practice. This is leading them to look for MSPs that can offer holistic security solutions.

It is also causing a flurry of acquisitions and activity among MSPs as they move to align their offerings with the market needs.

Guardz expands SMB protection for MSPs

With Guardz, MSPs will be able to provision and manage automated threat detection across business data, employee identities, cloud directories, web browsing, emails, and devices.

“There is no better way to protect SMBs than by reaching them through their valued MSPs, and we are delighted to have joined forces with Manage Protect to make our shared mission of unified cyber protection a reality for these millions of businesses,” Guardz CEO and Co-Founder, Dor Eisner, said in a release.

Manage Protect claims a network of around 300 MSPs across Australia. It offers a breadth of services across its portfolio, including 24/7 online provision, technical and certification training. It is currently the only partnership that Guardz has in the region.

“Working together with the Guardz team, we have localised the platform for our market with 100% local technical support, billing (AUD), training, certification, and the recently deployed data centre to serve our region,” Manage Protect Managing Director and Founder, Andrew Johnson, added.

“We are excited to be working with local MSPs to enable and empower them to manage and protect their customers and deliver them the peace of mind they deserve efficiently and cost-effectively.”
