RecordPoint, a global data and AI governance platform, has announced the launch of its Global Partner Program.

RecordPoint’s channel-first approach to AI data governance

The program indicates a shift to a channel-first business model that enables partners to resell, co-sell, and refer RecordPoint’s technology to their customers.

“Every regulated organization deploying AI right now is discovering the same thing: you cannot govern AI without first governing your data,” said RecordPoint CEO Anthony Woodward.

“Data governance and AI governance have converged into a single conversation in every boardroom. AI is only as trustworthy as the data underneath it, and that realization has turned data governance from a compliance line item into one of the fastest-growing budget priorities in enterprise IT,” Woodward added.

Two tracks target resell and co-sell

The program offers two tracks: the reseller track and the referral and co-sell track.

The reseller track spans four tiers:

  1. Aggregator
  2. Certified
  3. Select
  4. Premier

The entry-level Aggregator tier has no revenue requirement and handles software procurement and fulfillment, while higher tiers unlock greater margins in line with increased revenue commitments.

Meanwhile, the referral and co-sell track enables partners to work alongside RecordPoint’s sales teams.

The Global Partner program will be bolstered by a new partner portal and dedicated enablement tracks that cover sales, commercial, technical, and delivery skills.

Christian Lucarelli, VP of global partner sales and strategy, will spearhead the program.

“We’ve built this program so partners can monetize the data and AI governance opportunity from day one,” said Lucarelli. “Certified enablement, deal registration, joint marketing, and a customer book of named logos partners can lead with — the infrastructure is all there.”

Furthermore, RecordPoint has committed partner marketing funds and co-branding resources, with deal registration and access to Microsoft’s co-sell motion available to participating partners.

“Organizations don’t want to buy point software anymore. They want a partner who can advise on their entire data and AI strategy,” said Woodward. “RecordPoint provides the technology layer, and our partners bring the consulting, frameworks, and implementation services that wrap around it. Together, that’s the complete offering regulated organizations are asking for.”

RecordPoint accelerates growth

Earlier this year, the organization added Lucarelli to its team. He joins from Nintex, where he led the company’s global partner program.

RecordPoint also added Dean Gonsowski as chief revenue officer (CRO) and Craig Taylor as director of partners in January.

Gonsowski joins RecordPoint after serving in senior leadership positions at information governance firms, including Gimmal and Active Navigation.

Meanwhile, Taylor joins after serving in pre-sales, post-sales delivery, customer success, and partnership roles at companies such as OneTrust and VMware.

“After years of failed AI pilots, companies are learning that trusted data is key to unlocking AI innovation,” Woodward said at the time. “Dean and Craig will play key roles in addressing a market hungry for solutions and fostering a partner ecosystem.”
