Delinea is expanding its Asia-Pacific leadership structure across sales and channel operations as the identity security vendor looks to deepen partner engagement and support regional growth.
The changes add dedicated leadership across Australia and New Zealand, ASEAN, and the broader APAC region, while reinforcing Delinea’s APAC-wide channel strategy, with a focus on partner enablement, joint growth opportunities, and more localized support for customers across the region.
Delinea expands APAC leadership team
According to Delinea, the changes are intended to bring leadership closer to customers and partners while supporting its regional go-to-market strategy.
“APAC represents a significant growth opportunity for Delinea and is a strategic priority for the business,” said Cynthia Lee, Delinea APJ vice president.
The leadership changes span several regional markets and business functions:
- Shane Bellos, general manager, ANZ: Bellos will lead Delinea’s go-to-market strategy across Australia and New Zealand, with responsibility for business growth, customer engagement, and the company’s regional presence.
- Barry Chen, regional sales director, ASEAN: Chen will oversee Delinea’s go-to-market strategy across Southeast Asia, including expanding customer relationships and addressing differing business, regulatory, and security requirements across ASEAN markets.
- Jason Choong, APAC channel director: Choong will continue to lead Delinea’s channel strategy across Asia Pacific, focusing on partner enablement, joint growth opportunities, and the expansion of the company’s regional partner ecosystem.
- Amy Sua, HR manager, APAC: Sua becomes Delinea’s first dedicated HR manager for the region and will oversee talent acquisition, employee development, retention, and other people and culture initiatives.
“By investing in dedicated leadership across sales, channel and people functions, we’re building the local expertise, customer proximity, and partner ecosystem needed to support organisations as they strengthen their identity security strategies,” Lee continued.
The company is positioning APAC as a strategic growth market amid demand for privileged access management (PAM) and broader identity security capabilities.
Channel strategy remains central to regional growth
For channel partners, Delinea said the expanded leadership structure is intended to account for differences in customer requirements, regulations, and partner dynamics across APAC markets.
The company noted that Choong’s continued leadership of Delinea’s APAC channel strategy will focus on enabling partners and developing joint growth opportunities, while providing customers with access to local expertise and support.
The company also said that placing senior decision-makers closer to customers and partners should enable more responsive engagement and locally focused strategies.
These moves in the region follow Delinea’s July launch of its Partner Advantage Program, which introduced a new framework for partners centered on identity security, protected discounts, clearer engagement rules, and AI-powered enablement.
Delinea invests in local talent and identity security growth
The appointment of Sua as Delinea’s first dedicated APAC HR manager also indicates that the company’s regional investment extends beyond sales and channel coverage.
Delinea said Sua’s appointment reflects its commitment to building strong local teams within the region and investing in their long-term development.
The company also said the expanded leadership structure is intended to support continued investment and growth across APAC, while helping Delinea capitalize on demand for PAM and identity security solutions, including capabilities added through its recent acquisition of StrongDM.
Delinea also continues to expand its product portfolio. In July, the company announced new capabilities in runtime authorization.
