Fortress Solutions, Ataya, and Moso Networks are forming a strategic partnership to deliver private wireless 5G packages that will give enterprises unparalleled connectivity, security, and control.

Partnership combines solutions and services to enable 5G adoption

The Private 5G Package solution is designed to address a range of enterprise use cases, including video surveillance, digital scanners, automated mobile robots (AMR), point-of-sale operations (PoS), and others.

The solution will combine Ataya’s Chorus platform, Moso Networks’ new Canopy 5GID2 radio, and Fortress Solutions’ expert services. The features of the solution include:

  • Deployment and operation as simple as enterprise Wi-Fi
  • Rapid implementation at low industry costs
  • Centralized multi-tenant management
  • Enhanced security and privacy
  • Customization and control tailored to specific needs
  • Ultra-reliable low latency for mission-critical applications
  • Scalability and future-proofing for evolving demands

Private 5G offers organizations enhanced reliability, security, scalability, and performance, allowing seamless network control. The Private 5G Package is ideal for industries where Wi-Fi cannot address interference and congestion, limited coverage, reliability, or security.

Key industries that can benefit from this 5G package include:

  • Logistics and transportation: The package ensures stable connections across large warehouses and distribution centers while providing seamless handovers between network nodes and uninterrupted connectivity for AMRs and other mobile assets.
  • Retail: This 5G package can power a seamless digital experience for customers, such as mobile payments, in-store navigation, and AI-driven recommendations.
  • Higher Education: In this sector, the Private 5G Package supports immersive AR/VR learning, high-definition video streaming, and cloud-based collaboration without lag while protecting sensitive academic and research data with advanced encryption and secure access control.

Fortress’ Private Cellular 5G Innovation Lab

This partnership comes not long after Fortress Solutions launched a Private Cellular 5G Innovation Lab in Plano, Texas. The lab is designed to provide an environment for customers to test multi-vendor technologies, experience industry demonstrations, and receive support from Fortress experts to design and implement private 5G solutions that meet unique needs.

“Our Private Cellular 5G Innovation Lab enables private cellular OEMs and customers the opportunity to test and validate interoperability between cores, radio, and UE devices– enabling seamless integration and real-world use case validation, including Edge AI,” said Brannon Holliger, Senior Practice Director Enterprise Private Wireless for Fortress. “SNS Telecom & IT predicts the U.S. market to exceed $3.7 billion between 2024 and 2027, which made this the right time to join Fortress and expand on their growing business with the new lab.”

According to Fortress Solutions, the Innovation Lab features:

  • A personalized experience with customized, hands-on demonstrations that focus on specific customer needs and requirements prepared by highly skilled and knowledgeable private cellular certified professionals.
  • Multi-use case, technology-agnostic expertise. The lab features leading names like Airspan, Ataya, Druid, Highway9, HPE Aruba, Moso Networks, Nokia, and Radisys.
  • The lab is centrally located and easily accessible for in-person tours and consultants.

“As the demand for private 5G networks continues to rise, the Fortress Solutions Private Cellulary 5G Innovation Lab serves as a hub for collaboration, and education,” said John Shelnutt, President & CEO of Fortress Solutions. “We’re committed to delivering flexible, multi-use case, technology-agnostic solutions that empower our customers to explore the full potential of private wireless networks.”
