Beachhead Solutions Unveils ComplianceEZ 2.0 for MSPs

Beachhead Solutions has launched ComplianceEZ 2.0, a major update to its compliance management tool built into the BeachheadSecure for MSPs platform. 

The company says the new version moves beyond simple documentation and delivers full lifecycle management of cybersecurity compliance, with AI-driven guidance included at no extra cost.

Beachhead positions ComplianceEZ 2.0 as MSP-focused GRC alternative

The San Jose-based security vendor positions the release as a practical alternative to traditional governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms, which are often designed for internal enterprise compliance teams rather than MSPs serving multiple clients.

ComplianceEZ first debuted last year as a way for MSPs to document how BeachheadSecure’s 68 technical controls map to hundreds of compliance requirements across frameworks such as CMMC, HIPAA, and the FTC Safeguards Rule.

Version 2.0 expands on that foundation, building what the company calls a complete compliance lifecycle system.

According to Beachhead, the updated platform now includes an AI-powered chatbot that explains regulatory requirements and control mappings, automated audit-ready documentation, real-time compliance scoring, and proactive alerts when clients fall below defined compliance thresholds.

“Understanding MSP needs was a critical part of building 2.0, and we grounded the process in direct partner conversations. In one meeting, for example, a partner asked me, ‘Do you know why we use BeachheadSecure?’ It was because ‘with BeachheadSecure we can check a lot of compliance boxes.’ In his case, CMMC,” VP of Channel Cam Roberson told Channel Insider. 

“He told me we should build a platform that automatically manages and documents that compliance. That insight, and other partner feedback similar to it, became the foundation of an automated documentation and management platform designed specifically to help MSPs prove, manage, and scale compliance for their clients,” Roberson continued.

MSPs use automated compliance to strengthen margins and retention

With regulatory enforcement tightening and cyber insurance carriers demanding proof of controls, Beachhead argues that MSPs need more than static reports.

“MSPs are always looking for ways to stand out, but too often that means competing on price. A race to the bottom doesn’t do your business any good, though, particularly if you want to keep that client for the long haul,” Roberson said. 

“Our view is that MSPs shouldn’t lower prices, they should raise their value and demonstrate it clearly. Compliance done thoroughly and efficiently is one of the clearest paths to premium pricing and stickier client relationships,” he continued.

Aaron Wyant, President of Dispatch Tech, a San Diego-based MSP, noted the practical impact of this approach.
