Looking to add more capabilities to its platform, remote monitoring and management platform provider Kaseya plans to acquire network performance monitoring company Intellipool AB

"Intellipool immediately brings enterprise-class network performance monitoring capabilities to the Kaseya product line giving customers best of breed enterprise monitoring," Kaseya said in a statement announcing the deal.

Kaseya said it will offer the current Intellipool solution as an integrated add-on to the Kaseya framework this month, with plans to integrate the next generation of Intellipool’s network performance monitoring product by the end of the year. Kaseya said the integration will simplify operations and increase opportunities for partners.

“Kaseya is capitalizing on our leadership position in IT Automation space,” commented Gerald Blackie, CEO of Kaseya, in a statement. “The acquisition is a direct result of listening to our customers and developing a product based on those conversations to meet their business requirements.”
