Anti-ransomware solutions provider Halcyon recently announced a new distribution partnership with Climb Channel Solutions, expanding its North American footprint. Through this partnership, Halcyon’s reach will extend to thousands more value-added resellers (VARs) and managed service providers (MSPs).

Partnering to Deliver Anti-ransomware at Scale

The partnership enables Halcyon to scale rapidly across SMB, commercial, and enterprise markets that leverage Climb’s partner network to boost awareness and adoption of advanced ransomware prevention solutions.

“Partnering with Climb Channel Solutions marks an exciting milestone in our mission to eliminate the risk of ransomware for every organization,” said Dave Pawlowski, Worldwide Vice President of Channels and MSSP, Halcyon. “Climb’s reach and reputation within the channel ecosystem enable us to extend our footprint and empower partners with the technology and resources needed to stop ransomware before it can run.”

Additionally, the collaboration will enable more organizations to gain access to a dedicated anti-ransomware platform for preventing ransomware from running, eliminating the need for negotiating or paying a ransom and protecting critical systems and data from extortion.

“Halcyon’s platform is uniquely designed to eliminate the impact of ransomware and perfectly complements our ability to deliver emerging, best-in-class technologies to our partners,” said Dale Foster, CEO, Climb Channel Solutions. “Together, we’re providing the tools and expertise MSPs and VARs need to protect their customers from one of today’s most damaging and costly cyber threats.”

Halcyon’s Anti-Ransomware Platform combines multiple prevention engines, key interception, automated recovery, enhanced third-party security controls protection, 24/7 managed services, and a ransomware warranty for eliminating ransomware risk and ensuring operational continuity for businesses. It will not be more accessible through the Climb Channel Solutions partner ecosystem.

Pawlowski’s new role

The news of this partnership comes on the heels of Halcyon naming Pawlowski their new Worldwide Vice President of Channels and MSSP.

The veteran channel leader will be tasked with leading Halcyon’s partner ecosystem strategy, accelerating growth, expanding global reach, and enabling partners to provide next-gen ransomware defense at scale.

“Halcyon is redefining how organizations approach ransomware defense, and I’m excited to join the team at such a pivotal moment,” said Pawlowski. “Partners play a critical role in extending this mission globally, and I look forward to working with our ecosystem to accelerate growth, drive innovation, and deliver unmatched value for our customers.”

Organizations have been making moves to their distribution partner strategies, making efforts to simplify the adoption of their products. Read more about Huntress’ selection of Sherweb as their first distribution partner to make Huntress products available in the Sherweb Marketplace.
