Huntress has collaborated with Acrisure to launch a new cyber insurance program that gives businesses a faster, simpler path to protection against cybersecurity risks.

The program offers eligible organizations access to unique Cyber or Tech Errors and Omissions (Tech E&O) insurance policies with no deductible, through a streamlined application process that reduces the complexity typically associated with securing cyber insurance.

Huntress and Acrisure streamline cyber insurance access

According to Huntress, the program was developed in response to the growing volume of cyber threats, particularly those driven by AI.

Together, the two companies are framing the initiative as a way to strengthen organizations’ risk management strategies through cyber insurance coverage.

“We selected Acrisure for their industry expertise, cyber vision, broad reach, and deep relationships with top-quality insurers,” said Jeremy Young, director of community at Huntress.

“This collaboration reflects our shared focus on helping make cyber protection and resiliency more accessible to businesses through the combination of managed cybersecurity technology and cyber insurance solutions,” Young added.

Program offers Cyber and Tech E&O policy options

In collaboration with Huntress, Acrisure developed two new cyber insurance policies for its customers and partners.

Eligible customers and partners will have access to either Cyber or Tech Errors and Omissions (Tech E&O) insurance policies, respectively, placed through Acrisure.

Meanwhile, organizations using qualifying Huntress Managed Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) solutions may also benefit from a streamlined application process and, if eligible, access coverage under this unique program.

The two companies are positioning the offering as an alternative to traditional cyber insurance, which often involves complex application procedures, inconsistent underwriting requirements, and changing market conditions that can make securing adequate coverage more challenging.

Acrisure cites demand for managed security evidence

Adam Abresch, executive vice president of cyber solutions at Acrisure, said Huntress’ expertise in addressing complex cyber threats was a key reason for the partnership.

“We are collaborating with Huntress on this exciting new program because of their proven track record in detecting and responding to threats like ransomware and business email compromise, two leading types of cybercrime that lead to cyber and related losses. The Huntress products are also fully backed by their 24/7 AI-centric SOC, ensuring insureds always have top security experts on their watch,” said Abresch.

“Our data indicates that better outcomes can be achieved by leveraging managed security platforms, and insurers look for demonstrated results in this space to confidently underwrite policies and streamline terms. Huntress provides that evidence every day.” Abresch continued.

Huntress recently inked new distribution partnerships with Ingram Micro, Vertosoft, Liquid PC, and QBS Software. Discover how these moves support the company’s channel growth strategy across the mid-market, public sector, and EMEA regions.
