Technology provider C Spire has earned the Cisco Secure Networking Specialization in the US – one of four organizations in the country to achieve the designation.
Specialization builds on a 19-year Cisco partnership
In receiving this designation, the 19-year Cisco partner underwent a comprehensive three-day assessment of its technical capabilities, service delivery processes, and customer support operations.
The review verified C Spire’s ability to help organizations connect users, locations, applications, and data across complex network environments.
“This specialization demonstrates our ability to deliver sophisticated, value-added Cisco solutions through our deep technical expertise, advanced sales capabilities, and comprehensive service offerings,” said Brad Carpenter, C Spire Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President.
“As businesses continue to adopt AI and place greater importance on cybersecurity and encryption, this specialization, combined with our recent triple ISO certifications, reinforces that C Spire is a reliable and trusted technology partner committed to helping customers navigate an increasingly complex digital landscape while staying at the forefront of technological advancement,” Carpenter adds.
According to the organization, this designation reflects the company’s investment in engineering expertise, cybersecurity, and managed services.
Triple ISO certifications bolster managed services credentials
C Spire also recently attained three International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications simultaneously.
In an interview with Channel Insider, Carpenter noted that the certifications were achieved through organizational focus, executive oversight, and cross-functional collaboration – as opposed to treating each certification as a separate initiative.
The certifications include:
- ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- ISO/IEC 20000-1 IT Service Management
- ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security. They verify that C Spire’s management system meets internationally recognized standards for quality, security, and reliability.
“We started out the year with a commitment to continue to elevate how we’re providing managed services to our clients,” explained Carpenter. “We viewed the ISO certifications as a key component to that.”
