Channel partner businesses looking for new opportunities in data storage and AI data computing will now be able to tap into a new partner program from technology vendor VDURA.

VDURA offers a range of solutions, including a data platform they describe as “designed to elevate AI and high-performance computing (HPC) data infrastructure” with increased efficiency and lower costs as compared to other infrastructure models. VDURA, which until May 2024 was known by the name Panasas, offers specialized tools to a variety of verticals within research, life sciences, government and other industries.

The company’s rebrand was in part launched to reintroduce existing, new, and potential customers to a “fresh and innovative” business built on a newly developed SaaS platform model that addresses the growing demand for data storage and utilization created by the growing surge of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities in enterprises in virtually every industry.

“By working closely with our partners, we aim to deploy powerful AI and HPC solutions that address the data-intensive needs of the most impactful industries in the world, including life sciences, manufacturing, academic research, energy, and weather,” said Samantha Clarke, VP of Channel and Strategic Partnerships.

Over the past year, VDURA has steadily increased their focus on sell-through opportunities within the channel, and is now formalizing the benefits and opportunities for those channel partners. VP of Global Channel Sales Brad Painter estimated the company has grown the channel team by 250% since 2023.

The new program represents a renewed focus on technology providers, resellers, and distribution companies in the channel, according to Erik Salo, the company’s vice president of products and markets.

“We brought in seasoned channel experts to build out our program because we know how much value the channel can provide to us and to customers,” said Salo. “The channel is built on trust and relationships. Partners can bring that trust with their customers to our program and know VDURA is committed to their success.”

The new Velocity Partner Program bundles a variety of offerings traditionally found in vendor channel programs, including:

  • Sales and technical training resources
  • Partner portal and communications access
  • Deal registration and maintenance renewal eligibility
  • Revenue and pipeline attainment

“Our technology is highly applicable to channel partners and their customers, and we hope the launch of the program encourages those providers to take a new look at VDURA,” said Salo. “We are going to invest in your success. Partners own their relationships but we want to help them through training and other collateral, plus deal registration for protection.”

VDURA technology is built with scalability and innovation as guiding principles, according to Salo, who said the goal is always to provide value and keep data secure as enterprises tap into new research and development opportunities through AI and machine learning systems.
