NinjaOne has introduced its inaugural channel program, signaling a new growth phase through partnerships with a heightened emphasis on cybersecurity, according to Joe Lohmeier, vice president of worldwide channel sales at NinjaOne.

The new initiative, NinjaOne Now, aims to boost the company’s security growth by collaborating with more value-added resellers (VARs) alongside its established managed service provider (MSP) partners, explained Lohmeier.

Lohmeier said that the program is designed to boost growth for partners and ensure customer success.

Timing and structure

“I think it’s the right time for NinjaOne to add more structure to its partner efforts with this new program,” said Lohmeier. This program launch comes just over a year after Lohmeier joined the company as its first global channel chief, following executive roles at VMware and Cisco Systems.

The new program focuses on “partner advancement” and encourages the sale of products beyond NinjaOne’s core offerings. Lohmeier explained that NinjaOne has evolved from being solely an MSP product to becoming a comprehensive platform for both MSPs and VARs, with the latter being a significant focus of the new program.

Addressing endpoint management challenges

“Organizations are managing more endpoints than ever, fueled by a wave of remote and hybrid work,” he said. “Analyst firm Enterprise Strategy Group found that 70% of employees use four or more endpoint devices each day, which poses a significant risk for customers. Customer success is at the core of our mission at NinjaOne, and is a key part of our channel strategy. We launched NinjaOne Now to help partners support our joint customers by enabling them to manage and secure endpoints at scale. With NinjaOne in their toolbelt, partners are helping customers reduce risk, increase productivity and lower costs.”

The company’s portfolio now features endpoint security, endpoint and patch management, data protection, and other security capabilities. Additionally, third-party integrations, especially with major cybersecurity companies, have become an increasing focus.

“NinjaOne’s new partner program will be a game-changer for MSPs,” Seth Kilander, founder and CEO of Ki Security and Compliance Group, told Channel Insider. “It will streamline operations, boost security, and offer solid support. In our experience, NinjaOne is all about staying innovative and breaking into new markets, and it certainly seems like they’re working hard to help their partners grow and scale in today’s fast-paced IT world. This program underscores NinjaOne’s dedication to giving MSPs the tools and support they need to succeed.”

Benefits of the NinjaOne Now program

The NinjaOne Now program offers a new partner portal, deal registration, training, enablement, and other benefits. Partners also receive the same margin for renewal opportunities as they do for new business.

The program launch follows NinjaOne’s announcement back in February that it raised $231.5 million in a Series C funding round led by ICONIQ Growth, resulting in a valuation of $1.9 billion.

“We don’t do anything at NinjaOne without input from our customers and partners,” Lohmeier said. “Channel partners are the trusted advisors for modern businesses navigating complex IT and security challenges. Their input was not only critical to shaping this program, but at the heart of NinjaOne’s ongoing success.”
