Moovila today announced the availability of a new scheduling feature within their project and work management platform. Smart Schedule provides automated and real-time insights into employees’ schedules and tasks to predict delays and conflicts before they happen.

Smart scheduling joins automated timelines and financial projections on Moovila platform

The new feature pulls information from every facet of an MSP’s work portfolio and automates the tracking of tasks for every engineer and employee. Moovila touts Smart Schedule as the “first viable supervised autonomous scheduling solution” to come to market.

The feature, coupled with the other features available within Perfect Project for MSPs, aims to address MSP pain points in efficiency within project management across clients and also seeks to improve MSP margins through financial forecasting.

“Our reason for existing really is to say that if you aren’t automating your work management, your data isn’t good, and that affects business decisions,” said Mike Psenka, CEO and President of Moovila.

Through the new Smart Schedule feature, the Perfect Project platform also integrates with employees’ Outlook and Google Calendars and utilizes calendar information, help desk tickets, and more to predict work conflicts, track support times and other work task requirements, and forecast budgetary needs all in one holistic view across the entire organization’s work portfolio.

All of this rolls together, or “waterfalls,” as Psenka describes it, so that the platform can present a full view of everything within an MSP’s scope, allowing better visibility into budgetary needs, potential delays on execution, and whether a project is slated to be delivered properly against the agreed upon terms.

Perfect Project for MSPs built to address provider needs at scale

Moovila initially launched their Perfect Project platform to support enterprises in construction and other industries. MSPs discovered the tool and saw potential, but told the team they would need API integration capabilities with the leading PSA tools before the platform could be fully usable for channel partners.

“We started hearing from MSPs who were saying, ‘we love your product but it really isn’t feasible without [PSA] integrations,” Psenka said. “So we took that seriously, and we spent a few years testing out the APIs on these PSAs and working with vendors on making the APIs work, and we built the functionality for them.”

Perfect Project supports dual integrations with ConnectWise and Halo PSA tools, with Autotask capability coming soon. Psenka said his team is always considering new integration options.

MSPs can utilize the tool to see in real-time if labor costs or technical hurdles will lead to price disparity, giving them the opportunity to renegotiate contracts and expectations with their clients before a problem arises.

According to the press release, early adopters of Smart Schedule have already reported time savings between 20 and over 50 percent as compared to their existing workflows and note “significant improvements in project outcomes and client satisfaction.”

“Only really large MSPs historically have had the time to do analysis like this manually, and now with automation, we help them do it faster and we offer the automation to everyone, no matter the size, to help them at their margins.”

Smart Schedule is available now within the platform. Interested MSPs can also participate in Moovila’s partner program.
