Trintech Group on Dec. 4 announced it has attained Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program and added a competency in ISV/Software Solutions. Trintech is a financial and compliance solution provider for commercial, financial and health-care markets.

Trintech developed a product “factory” that allows pieces of software to be “reused” and integrated into the development and deployment of next-generation financial accounting and compliance solutions, the Addison, Texas-based company said in a statement. The company’s software architecture is mapped to the Microsoft .NET framework, and works with Windows Vista and “Longhorn” Server, both companies said.

Trintech counts North Fork Bank, 7-Eleven and Verizon Wireless among its customers, and said its financial software provides greater visibility into financial data and greater control of data management and compliance requirements.

Receiving the Certified Partner designation means “it will be much easier for us to develop new products to meet specific market requirements,” said John Harte, EVP and General Manager for Trintech, in the statement.

In addition to earning certified status, Trintech has declared a Microsoft Competency in ISV/Software solutions. Microsoft Competencies differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies and make it easier for customers looking for a particular type of solution to identify competent partners, Microsoft said.
