NextPhase Wireless announced March 7 that it has partnered with Forval International to deliver ElipServices, a managed IT services package designed for small and midsize businesses.
ElipServices combines Forval’s managed IT services package with NextPhase Wireless’ broadband wireless Internet access offerings. The package includes security, disaster recovery, network performance and consolidated communication capabilities.
“The ability to conduct business electronically has become the lifeblood for many SMBs, and that ability is increasingly threatened by growing security and business continuity changes,” Tom Hemingway, chairman and chief operating officer of NextPhase Wireless, based in Anaheim, Calif., told eWEEK.
The managed IT services package includes remote backup capabilities that allow businesses to back up files within a data center and features site-to-site VPN, which provides secure communications between offices, or remote access VPN, which allows users to work from home.
The package features a print server that allows business users to access any networked printer from anywhere in the office and also includes shared storage, which lets users share files on a network drive and enables them to set up user permission options to limit access to the file.

ElipServices also allows NextPhase Wireless users to combine data, voice and video through a single Internet access line.
“By providing these capabilities as a range of plug and play managed services, SMBs can get access to leveraged enterprise-class resources and technologies, which allows them to cost-effectively address their security, disaster recover and network performance issues,” Hemingway said.
ElipServices is available now with pricing starting at $39 per month with no upfront equipment costs.
