Mezeo Software, a relative newcomer on the cloud computing scene, April 15 introduced a new version of its private-cloud storage platform for the enterprise.

The company made the announcement at Storage Networking World in Orlando, Fla., which ends today.

The Houston-based startup originally launched its cloud software in December 2008 specifically for the IT service provider market. It now has been updated with new features and for simpler deployment and control with a new user interface.
