Grandstream Networks, a manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and
video surveillance solutions, announced two new additions to the GXP
line of Enterprise HD IP Phones, the GXP1400 and GXP1405. The newest
additions to the GXP family of HD IP Phones, the GXP1400/1405 bring HD
audio and functionality to the SMB (small and midsize business)
market. The GXP1400/1405 will be commercially available through
Grandstream’s worldwide distribution channels at a list price of $59
and $65 respectively, by June.

The GXP1400/1405 are next generation SMB IP phones that feature 2 line
keys with dual-color LED, single SIP account, a 128×40 pixel graphical
LCD display with support for multi-languages (including English,
German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese),
3 XML programmable context-sensitive soft keys, dual network
ports, integrated PoE (GXP1405 only), and 3-way conferencing.

The GXP1400/1405 delivers wideband HD audio quality, high performance
full duplex speakerphone with advanced acoustic echo cancellation, rich
telephony features, auto provisioning for secure deployment using TR069
and AES encrypted XML configuration file, advanced security protection
for privacy using TLS/SRTP/HTTPS, and interoperability with most
third-party SIP devices and SIP/NGN/IMS platforms as well as IPPBX
systems.

“We are very excited to announce the GXP1400/1405 HD phones for the
small-to-medium business market”, said David Li, CEO of Grandstream
Networks. “This new product from Grandstream will target the fastest
growing demand in the affordability segment of the IP phone market with
unrivaled cost-feature-performance advantages and exceedingly
compelling value of wideband HD voice at a nearly disruptive price
point that’s close to traditional analog phones.”

Earlier this year, the company announced the GXV31xx series VOIP
multimedia phones, including the GXV3175 desktop IP multimedia
telephone with a 7-inch touch-screen LCD. This sibling to the
Skype-certified GXV3140 offers video telephony capabilities with
enhanced picture sharpness, HD audio quality, and a variety of business
productivity, casual entertainment, and social networking applications
embedded in the phone.

Featuring 3-lines with up to 3 SIP accounts plus a free peer-to-peer
IPVideoTalk service out of the box, the GXV3175 also includes a 1.3
mega pixel tiltable CMOS camera with privacy shutter, dual 10M/100M
Ethernet ports with integrated PoE, integrated WiFi (802.11b/g/n), dual
USB ports, SD port, stereo audio and TV output, headset jack, and
stylus pen. The phone also offers video conferencing projection,
allowing connection to a digital TV for larger caller projection.
