Epson is launching a channel partner program for its commercial projector resellers that buy through distribution.

Epson has sold through the channel, both direct to resellers with its professional projectors and through distributors with its commercial projectors. The new program is aimed at the commercial projector resellers, which have not had a formal channel program in place.

The ImageWay Partner Program will feature various benefits for resellers, including e-mail alerts from Epson, a Web portal, newsletters, online training opportunities, sales and marketing support, and leasing/finance options.

"The whole intent is to help them grow their business, which obviously helps us grow ours," said Pam Rocco, senior manager of commercial channel programs at Epson America.
