Diversified power management manufacturer Eaton Corp. has announced a new value added reseller program called the PowerAdvantage Partner Program. The program is designed to provide VARs with the tools to deliver greater value to their customers and maximize revenues within the power and energy efficiency segments. While Eaton is a global vendor, this program will only operate in the U.S.

Eaton sells multiple product types through multiple channels, and its IT VAR business had not previously had top line attention and priority.

"There was a channel program in place previously, and there was an opportunity for a VAR to register with Eaton and get access to marcom and access to a portal, but there were no benefits and no MDF in place," said Kristy Cornell, IT channel marketing manager at Eaton. "The new program has many benefits and enhancements. We consider it the IT VAR program we’ve never really had before."
