  • New McAfee Web Site Offers Partners More Choices

    Partners of McAfee Inc., a Santa Clara, Calif., intrusion prevention and security risk-management vendor, now can access pre-qualified leads, customer renewal data and order status information through an enhanced partner Web site.

    The MAX (McAfee SecurityAlliance eXchange) offers an abundance of other resources to partners, including access to discounts and special terms, an online product recommender, product collateral and technical training.

    The goal of the revamped Web site, according to executive vice president Kevin Weiss, is to provide resellers with more opportunity to upsell and cross-sell, as well as simply making it easier for partners to conduct business with McAfee.

  • PostX Launches New Channel Partner Program

    PostX, a Cupertino, Calif., vendor of secure messaging solutions, has announced a new channel partner program.

    The PostX Channel Partner Program provides resellers with different levels of incentives depending upon volume, licensing margins and sales commitment.

    Other benefits include pre-sales support, technical training and co-marketing.

    Some partners also can receive financial incentives for lead registration and account protection.

    Program participation is broken down into three levels: associate partners, who receive a range of online resources through the company’s partner portal; premier members, who receive financial incentives and qualify for pre- and post-sales support and marketing; and distributors, who receive the highest level of rewards.

    A host of new technology companies and systems integrators have announced relationships with ECM (Enterprise Content Management) vendor Interwoven Inc. of Sunnyvale, Calif.

  • Rally Launches Partner Program for Agile Development Consultants

    Rally Software Development Corp., a Boulder, Colo., company that helps consultants optimize the development of Agile-based software, has announced a program that aims to help systems integrators and other consultants better scale Agile practices across their organizations.

    The Rally-Enabled Partner Program offers partners free or discounted licenses of Rally’s software lifecycle management solution, as well as access to experts that help teach software executives and teams about how to adopt Agile development practices.

    Services include coaching and an on-demand subscription Web service to help manage the Agile development lifecycle.
