Bell Microproducts has named Chuck Kostalnick as president of North American distribution, replacing Jerry Kagele, who left the distributor to pursue another opportunity.

Kostalnick has more than 20 years of experience in the electronics distribution industry and previously served as Bell Micro’s senior vice president of the Technology Solutions Group. In his prior role, Kostalnick worked to develop and grow the distributor’s value-add business.

In his new role, Kostalnick will report directly to Graeme Watt, president of worldwide distribution at Bell Micro. He will be responsible for the various sales and marketing business units for North America, but he’ll also continue his leadership role over the Technology Solutions Group.
