Dynamic Supplies, a prominent Aotearoa New Zealand distributor, has entered an exclusive partnership with Mako Networks to bring PCI-certified network security solutions to local businesses.

Meeting the demand for security and scalability

The collaboration aims to address the increasing demand for secure, scalable connectivity solutions in sectors such as retail, restaurants, and petroleum. “Mako NZ has always leveraged a partner-driven go-to-market model,” Adrian Pearce, the Head of A/NZ Sales at Mako Networks, said.

“Our partnership with Dynamic Supplies stems from both a long-term, trusted personal relationship and strategic alignment. With Dynamic Supplies’ presence in New Zealand and Australia, Mako gains access to new markets while they benefit from our unique product offerings for their resellers.”

The partnership marks a significant expansion for Dynamic Supplies, which has traditionally focused on IT hardware, consumables, and office supplies. By distributing Mako’s cloud-managed networking solutions, the company enhances its portfolio with additional software solutions.

Dynamic Supplies’ resellers will now have access to the Mako System, which offers SD-WAN, next-gen firewalls, VPN, and cellular failover, all centrally managed through Mako’s Cloud Management System.

New training program is available now

To support the rollout, Mako has launched a comprehensive technical training program that will be available to partners to help skill up quickly. “This program guides them through the entire Mako System, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to become certified Mako Service Agents,” Pearce said. “As certified agents, they will be fully capable of managing their own customers while leveraging Mako’s 24/7/365 support for even the most complex inquiries. Sales training will also be provided to ensure Dynamic Supplies’ teams can fully understand Mako’s offerings, markets, and competitors.”

The partnership will expand to Australia in early 2025, and Pearce emphasized that this collaboration was expected to deliver significantly as it aligns with broader trends in the local IT channel distribution. “Security remains a top priority for enterprises, and as the world’s only PCI-certified managed network service provider, Mako is uniquely positioned to meet these demands.”
